If Ablett plays, don't expect him to be spending too much time at ball-ups.

"Dramafield"... pmsl. New vocab.

Hang on a minute... Goodwin can only answer the same mundane line of questions the DH journo's continually trot out each time he's interviewed. His repetition is in line with the values the club is currently trying to instil in the playing group so wavering from those just because he has an external interview would be sending mixed messages. His post match interviews are some of the best and most insightful out of all coaches in my opinion. Roos was boring as bat shyte. Neeld was nauseating. I don't know what some people expect but it's clearly too much.

Technical issue? they still have 57 minutes.

If anything it’ll help you upgrade a little earlier on a jet but really I don’t think it’s too much budget to have any real impact. I’ve got $170k players on all benches and expect them to play early considering the reports. Rest of my team is top liners with a few ~250-300k bit players I hope chip in enough to break even most weeks. Really have to do the work on identifying your cash cows. I don’t think someone like Fritsch fits the mould in this regard.

I’ve watched a few of the women’s matches and have been impressed by the inside 50’s effort. Unfortunately, it seems easy for the opposition to bring it back out. I think if we can hold it in there or better still, convert more efficiently, we have the game style to produce a winning score.

I can remember when Mitch Clark kicked 6 goals in a practice game for Geelong after he left the Dee’s. I know this holds no real relevance to Watts but who cares. Clearly it’s something to marvel in for some people.
-
Why don’t you mate? Fritsch has two practice games under his belt, Watts has more than 150 league games... Seems an easy comparison at this stage I’m sure.
-
Port are my second team. Great to see Watts do well and Barry proving that he’s can be a league footballer. And I hate Adelaide for obvious reasons.
-
You’re right, hard to go past Oliver based on his performance the other night. Especially if he adds another 12 points with a couple of goals per game.
-
Disappointed mainly because I wanted to see him shitmix Selwood. But, what a refreshing change to finally feel at ease with our midfield depth.

I missed the third qtr but I thought N Jones was pretty good. Great summary otherwise.
-
Yeah
-
Some excellent grunt work from Jones at the coal face.

"Melbourne is set to be a Fantasy Volcano" is one sentence I've read with regards to this years AFL Fantasy competition. It's pretty clear that we're a team that likes to possess the footy which should bode well for good Fantasy scores but, if based on the North JLT game, might we become a team that shares the footy to a point where fantasy scores actually diminish? Interested to hear some opinions. At this stage, the MFC players I have in my team are: DEF: Hibberd MID, FWD: Petracca FWD: ANB RUCK: Gawn

I do find it interesting that Pedersen is getting a trot in both league praccy games.

Very happy @Grapeviney got that last question in and loved the very expansive answer from Neville. Thanks fella's. -
Quite frankly, despite the positive spin Viney is giving it, there's no hiding that the clubs extra precaution and added recovery time points to the fact that something's still not quite right with his foot.Whether it's causing him to pull up sore after each training session or causing discomfort during the session who knows but all this conjecture around him being ready or not has me very concerned. If I was a betting man, I'd put money on it he won't suit up for round 1.

I'd like some detail around this also.... How instrumental was Roos in Nev becoming the player he is now or was it Rawlings influence/coaching. Also please highlight his match winning contest against Kade Simpson last year as nothing short of inspirational. -
Nic Nat makes the cut when he hasn't even made it on to the park last year. Besides that, he has a fairly underwhelming set of career averages - 12 disposals, 2 marks and 24 HO's is hardly top 50 imo. Noted for a few freakish plays.

How’s the Weed appear to be coming along @DeeSpencer? Will he be a player? -
From media I’ve read about Fritsch, it sounds as though he’s got a great field kick and rarely misses a target. Unfortunately for Hannan, this is an area he needs to improve upon. Too many missed short-range targets last year might give Fritsch an advantage depending on the role they’re given. Both know how to snag a goal that’s for certain.

I’ll have a crack.

Jack Viney will Return to the Track in January.

Due to the original plantar fascia pain he had and the subsequent surgery to relieve it, it was reported that he was compensating for it with his running style and therefore placed strain on other areas of his foot which brought about this new issue. What it is exactly has still not been reported to my knowledge.
