DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 21
red and blue forever replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
6 - Howe 5 - Dunn 4 - Grimes 3 - Trengove 2 - Jones 1 - MacDonald -
you think he will be the highest scorer in your supercoach team? if you are right, it is a unique choice and will do you well. most likly (and all respect the grimes) you will regret it. (not saying he wont score well, but there will be better scorers. even from melbourne i think, remember franklin is playing against gcfc)

good work keeping the final demon forum alive fellas!

has been the story of his career, if he gets a full preseason he playes the year great, if not, it takes him a while to get into it. just one of those unlucky players, but hopefully he will finish this year off well,

what has lawrence done in all his 0 games for melbourne that makes you think he is no good? how about evans in his four games (0 this year) Fitzpatrick in his 2 career games? (one this year) spencer in his 10 games (2 this year) jetta in his 0 games this year? far to early to tell with them magner also has not been that bad i think the rest have a case to answer at the end of the year, and are on the chopping block. R. Bail M. Bate J. Bennel L. Dunn B. Green B. Moloney lets not hang people who have nothing to do with the rot out to dry. a bit unfair if they have not played.

JONESY!!!!!!

what i am suggesting is he is not doing that bad really, for a 9 games, 3 over the last 2 years. let him have some game time, and he may surprise us and become a great ruckman we dumped jolly because we thought he wasn't good enough. and he looks pretty good at the filth. lets not judge spencer too early.
-
all i am saying is he gets a blasting all the time, buit he has played 9 games, how can we judge him yet. i chose dean cox as arguably the best ruckman in the competition. if jake ends up even half as good as him we will be happy.

DEAN COX FIRST 9 GAMES K H D M H/O T G B 44 53 97 31 116 12 0 1 JAKE SPENCER FIRST 9 GAMES K H D M H/O T G B 19 42 61 24 108 16 0 1 cox playey 17 games in his first year. Jake has play 9 over 3 years (6 2010, 2 2011, 1 this year) give him time.

well, at least we are getting all our bad luck out at once. hope clark recovers well, we really need him for the future of the club. but you never know cook may come out and shine, martin may find old form, petterd may recapture his form of early 2010. they may even finally play Couch perhaps it is a chance to see sheenan or tynan get a chance. maybe if affords a chance for gysberts to get back in the side, with some shuffling (which neeld seems happy to do) or davis?? we play every other backman forward why not give him a go? oooh the oppertunities. we are on the way up guys, this is just another little stumble, but each one is character building and the team will get stronger and stronger as they collectivly deal with each stumble in turn. soon Mlebourne will be the tightest playing group in the league the culture amongst the players will be the envy of every other team. great kids playing together, a ripper draft this year to add some brilliant new talent, they will all get to 100/200 +games together and there will be a dominant melbourne era to put the 1954-1964 era to shame. 3 years tops. always look on the bright side of life.

Did We REALLY WIN BY 11points?
red and blue forever replied to Bobby McKenzie's topic in Melbourne Demons
post cam , they can have bloody stump cam. one at the base pointing up on the inside of each goal post and one on the top of each post pointing streight up. never be confused again. -
brilliant game. such a relief. loved the effort put in by the players at every contest. they were gang tackeling at every contest by the last quarter, everyone put in 110%. now the boys know how much effort it takes to win a game, perfect timing to learn that with queens birthday next week. It's a grand old flag
