  1. Gibney caused not one but two players to get concussed yesterday by being the last man in the contest, and pushing Petty into McGovern. He is the only one with a case to answer, and form in this area having done the same thing to Lalor. Melksham took a perfectly legal mark, by using his forearm to protect the fall of the ball. It wasn’t even a free kick, let alone a suspension. True to form, Melksham will get 6 weeks for breathing in a Melbourne jumper tho.
  2. They live on a planet over in WA. It’s not planet earth, but it’s a planet nonetheless. Brave Eagles and Flagmantle doing a fine job for WA football.
  3. He is not. Please stop believing one of the worst journalists going around. Seriously.
  4. Trying to not waste my time arguing buttholes
  5. Really hope that all the keyboard heroes on this site who enjoy calling Clarry fat, lazy, unmotivated and so forth when they know absolutely stuff all, sit the [censored] down and shut the [censored] up.
  6. He would be an outstanding footy manager if we decide to part ways with Richo at the end of 2025.
  7. This has to be the most positive thread we’ve had on Demonland in months. Great read and thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend and report. Kept me busy while I spent the last 24 hours in hospital with my better half.
  8. I wouldn’t worry about Max and Ed. They’re cycling thru the Sahara desert like a couple of unwell fitness freaks. They’ll be at negative body fat next week.
  9. Carlton with the third easiest draw. The AFL is desperate to get them a flag.
  10. A commercial disaster, but from a 'winnability' point of view, it's a good draw as things stand. Of course every year some teams surprise and some falter, but to only play Brisbane, Geelong, Swans (at home) Carlton, and Freo (at home) once, is a big win as I expect them to do well again next year. And given our fans rarely turn up to night games, it's hard to complain about the 3:20 Sunday timeslot. You get what you deserve in this game*. Also good to have 2 easier game in the first 3 weeks, given we will be missing Kosi! *unless you're one of the AFL's love child, and then you get a lot more than you deserve
  11. It's never what you say, but how you say it. Differing of opinions is healthy, natural and completely fine. As is venting. But it says more about you, if you feel the need to constantly attack, belittle and railroad the opinions of others (not you personally), than it does about those who feel fed up with it.
  12. I have been posting on this site for 20+ years, and this place has never been more toxic. Embarrassing to see this level of drivel, chest beating and pointless point scoring. The culture at our club may not be great, but it's probably better than the culture that's creeped into this place from the same usual suspects, who think they have the right to belittle others and repeat the same rubbish over and over and over again. The moderators do their best, but I think everyone here is an adult (or should be) and therefore should take responsibility for their own behaviours. Hiding behind a screen, does not give you the right to be a gigantic asshat.
  13. F1 and pick 28 for Pick 10? Giving us pick 5 + pick 10, plus the second rounder that we got from the Swans for Grundy.
  14. Melbourne’s list manager: Clarry is not getting traded he will 100% be at Melbourne next year Geelong’s list manager: We respect Melbourne’s position we will let it rest Media: MELBOURNE AND GEELONG IN AN ALL OUT WAR OVER CLAYTON OLIVER 🙄
  15. This is a good move for North. Will help take a lot of pressure off Larky, who is already a star. Add in Parker, and I reckon North will finally make some inroads in 2025.
  16. Yep. Not his mess, but ultimately his job is the one that suffers the most.
  17. McAdams needs a really big pre-season. He has a spot open for him in rounds 1-3 with Kozzie serving a suspension. It's all his for the taking. But so far, you're right, this trade has been a bust.
  18. You can thank "The Brand" for that.
  19. Someone needs to buy this man a large vat of alcohol. That was brutal. Imagine being a list manager, and having the club implode around you while you're trying to get deals done.
  20. Tim Lamb is not being helped by our club being run like a circus. He can approach players and managers. He can make offers. But ultimately if nobody wants to come here, what can he do? We have Houston on the hook, now he’s gone cold on us. We offered Peatling a good deal and he chose Adelaide. It’s a sad state of affairs right now, as we are so far from a destination club.
  21. Adelaide got themselves an absolute bargain. One of the best clubman you can hope for! Wishing Nibbler all the best, he will be sorely missed.
  22. And didn’t that work out well for them. Lost him a year later for SFA
  23. His housemate / friend
  24. Has anyone seen Tom Morris and Putin in the same room together?… just saying
