  1. I just can’t get over the destruction of Geelong. Making a grand final also pretty good I guess.
  2. Hibbo destroyed Cameron last night. Did his job. He plays unless injured.
  3. It’s such a hard call now because the club won’t know until the last minute how well May has pulled up. If he’s not 100% they will still risk him, but if he goes down in the first quarter again and we don’t have a defender as the sub, it could absolutely cost us the game. Especially against Port who has a very good forwardline. Hunt has been there all year and got injured at a bad time. If he’s the sub, he can play a number of roles including down back, wing and even half forward as he’s done before. JJ didn’t look super sharp last night which is to be expected. He’s been sub for several weeks for 0 game time and the game was done when he came on. Jones hasn’t played in what 14 weeks? It’s going to be that much harder for him to slot in as the sub. I want desperately to get Jones and Jetta in, but I don’t know how we make that happen sadly. I wish we could hand them a medal on the day if we win. Both have done more for this club than many could understand. Their resilience and leadership is a credit to not just themselves, but also to where this club is at now.
  4. We did to Geelong yesterday what they did to us that day. We put a final nail in their coffin. Suffer Geelong. Just suffer. edit: I hope somewhere Dean Bailey is watching and smiling.
  5. My house is going to look like someone drank a lot of watermelon and blueberry UDLs and then threw up on it.
  6. The most important hamstring in Australia
  7. I’m excited for him to take on Macrae or his bestie Wines next week. Bones will be crushed.
  8. Quoted for enjoyment Insufferable d0uche canoe.
  9. Sometimes I really love social media
  10. Haven’t always been his biggest fan, but Viney is a finals player. His game tonight was sensational.
  11. And Oliver barely made a dint on the stat sheet and May blew a leg and we won by 83 points. Like what the actual [censored]?
  12. Finally in bed. Scrolling online. It’s hit me that we are in a grand final and that we won’t be able to share the moment with the players. And that really hurts. It hurts because we’ve suffered a lot as a supporter base. If you aren’t a Melbourne supporter you just have no understanding of the deep scars, the heartache, the loss and the failure we’ve been through together. We have been through it all just to experience this moment. I am incredibly emotional and it’s a mixed bag of pride, and excitement, and deep sadness. I am beyond proud of what this club has achieved this year already. Beyond excited for what is to come. And incredibly happy for everyone at the club who has worked so hard for this moment, but more importantly, for all of our supporters.
  13. By tomorrow it’ll be 95 against the wind.
  14. I hope the winner tomorrow is the MRI scanner.
  15. A smart move to be smashing them by enough to be able to have our entire AA squad on the bench with 10 minutes to go. Very good planning 😂
  16. Chris Scott “I gotta get on the bus. I’ll keep my answers short”… yeah mate you gotta get on the bus to the retirement village. The pudding is waiting.
  17. I need to have a serious chat to Mark McGowen. Can my Covid free hamstring be let across the border to donate to Steven May? The hammy is fresh. I’ve been sitting on the couch for 220 days.
  18. Out: JJ In: Hunt (sub)
  19. This breaks my heart but I agree that if May isn’t 1000% you bring in Hunt as the sub.
  20. I literally haven’t been calmer in a second half of a game for years. My heart is at a low comfortable 190 beats per minute.
  21. Greene will be alright for Casey I guess.
  22. Seriously what just happened? Where am I? What day is it? Who are we? CARN THE [censored] DEES!!!! Also, eat a salty bag of testicles Geelong
  23. RIP Geelong It has been a pleasure destroying you.
  24. This is so beautiful
