Give me a break! We have 8 days off, and all the players at that function are senior players, who have runs of the board and who I trust completely to do the right thing. I doubt any of them are getting wasted at a function during the day with their wives/partners. We are finally a professional club setting standards. Thank god for that!

Done and dusted maybe, but that was a costly mistake! Kent and JHK would have been a lot better to have in the team on Friday than White and Wagner. Considering these 4 players are struggling to get a game at senior level, it is a pretty dumb life choice to break clear club rules and set yourself back further. They are lucky we have so many injuries, or they would struggle to break into the senior team. Idiots all 4 of them, and glad we took a strong stance. Hope they get their sh*t together.

Source? Injuries have ruined our season. I reckon we'd be on 2 losses max, had we not lost Gawn and Hogan for most of the season, and now Jones, Viney, Salem, Tyson, Jeffy and Watts. That is a disastrous injury list, and one no club would recover from. We'd be lucky to win 1 out of the next 4 matches without basically our entire midfield. Oliver and Trac look exhausted, and Gawn will take a while to get back to full flight. It might be time for Lewis and Vince to step up in the middle.

Wow, Mills started it and Bugg finished it by punching him in the face. With that sort of logic you should represent all the good blokes out there who were just "finishing it" when they hit that random in the bar, or their girlfriend, or their kid.

I don't support players hitting other players in the face off the ball and knocking them out. I don't care what jumper they wear. If the situation was reversed and a Sydney player did this to say Viney, we would want him burnt at the stake. Lets not pretend what he did is any less pathetic because he's in a Melbourne jumper. It's worse, because this isn't the sort of [censored] I want someone in a Melbourne jumper doing.

I don't feel any less optimistic or excited about the trajectory of the team after last night. We are missing 6 of our best 10 players and we are physically stuffed. The AFL [censored] us good with the draw. Fuming!

I hope we hear today about Viney. Genuinely I don't care about much else at the moment.... assuming Tyson is ok

Gawn looked to have aged 30 years tonight. Clearly stuffed. Needs the break and the match fitness. Contradictory I know, but he looked slow and flat and also not very sharp with the footy or mobile. He will be better for the run.

The turnaround in form of OMac is absolutely phenomenal! Played his best game tonight on some seriously good opponents. Absolute credit to him! 6- Jetta 5- Omac 4- Tmac 3- Hibberd 2- Frost 1- Tyson Kudos to the defensive team. They did a good job under serious duress. Also Buddy is a c$$khead

I'm so worried about Viney and Tyson. We need some luck and that Viney injury is not often associated with good luck.

I don't know what's worse, Bugg or supporters taking his actions lightly. It's a shameful unnecessary thing to do. It's flat out assault. It's not ok, and it's embarrassing to see someone wearing our jumper behaving like this. Our jumper is sacred. You wear it and you represent my club with this sort of crap? Not on your life buddy.

He's a moron and I hate him in a Melbourne jumper. Spend less time being a [censored] jocky and more time being a good player. Will get 4 and it's well deserved.

Wagner to the tip

I personally love Hunt up forward, but having lost Salem, that's a lot of pressure on Hibbo to be doing the attack from the backline. Means Vince needs to really take it up a notch off half back. I definitely do NOT want Frost doing the majority of backline attacking. If he's on Buddy, I rather he concentrates purely on ensuring he doesn't win them the game!

Looking forward to the next time we meet Sook Coast. Imagine if it's in a final this year at the G....

It gives me shivers just thinking about it. Nobody, truly nobody in the AFL currently, is more deserving of holding up a premiership cup than Jonesy. There wouldn't be a single supporter or player who wouldn't be happy to see that happen. I was talking to some friends on the weekend, and they were saying imagine a GWS - Melbourne grand final. The history, the emotion, the passion, there is no way any neutral fan wouldn't be supporting Melbourne. Now more than ever I'm confident that Jonesy will be a premiership captain before his time is up, and when that moment happens, it will make all the suffering worth while.

At least that superstar Schofield is free to play. His 6 touches will be vital.

I'm bringing 7 people to this game. Only 2 actually care about the Dees (some don't care about footy much but I'm forcing them to come for 'good luck' ). I'm gonna cop it for years to come if we don't win.
