Vince had an operation early in the week to restitch the webbing in his fingers which he tore on the weekend (makes me feel sick just thinking about it!), so probably explains his absence.

If McDonald plays, we win by 2-3 goals, simply because those 875 forward 50 entries don't all end up being kicked to Garlett 2-on-1 in the goal square. Of course if Dangerfield plays we probably lose by 5 goals, so there you go.

If we lose to North AGAIN this year, I will seriously give up on life. I am going overseas for work, and specifically organised my trip so that I fly out straight after the North game because I can't possibly miss us beating them finally! If we lose, at least I can enjoy unlimited champagne in business class to drown my sorrows.

How far off is Joel Smith? I thought he was excellent and really gave us some good drive off half-back in the 3 minutes he played last year prior to injury.

Ablett having a sook to the umpires is pathetic don't get me wrong, but the difference is, Ablett had a conversation with the umpire, he didn't take out his mouth guard and tell the umpire to F off like an idiot, giving away a crucial 50m penalty in a game lost by under a goal.

Abuse is not allowed, it is the rules. It's like saying "I wish someone punched Selwood in the face because it is what I wanted to do at the time that he tunnelled Salem". It is pathetic leadership from Lewis, who should learn to shut up and stop costing us games. He cost us dearly through suspension last year, and he potentially cost us the game on the weekend for lashing out. Lewis is in the team primarily for his leadership. Some leadership giving away 50m penalty because you're a hot head.

And then the chorus of people calling for Garlett's head, because why is he not impacting games as a 2-on-1 full forward. I mean he is clearly a full forward!
