Lever has the worst kicking action I’ve seen on an A grader. I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt because he hasn’t played a decent run of games in over 12 months.

Yep so sad. I wanted to go but this weather is horrid and I don’t want to sit in freezing temperatures and risk getting sick before I head off overseas. Honestly it doesn’t seem worth it and I feel guilty because I know how much these games mean to the club financially. But we have done nothing as a club this season to deserve blind support from our fans.

I don’t disagree but they will never trade Viney. He is also Goodwin’s favorite player.

Surely the only assistant who is safe is Rawlings, who has a proven track record. The rest need and I believe will go. I hope we get Richardson. McCartney did great work at the club. I just think his old school way of thinking is not in line with Goodwin.

Wouldn’t be the first time the club has done something stupid when it comes to player management. If he is injured, and I suspect he is, I have no [censored] clue why they are being so cruel as to play him week after week, out of position, and watch him lose all confidence. I almost don’t know what I prefer to believe, that Gus is no good, or that the club are so stupid.

In hindsight I was probably a little harsh on JHK’s performance. He did ok despite awful weather conditions. People keep arguing he isn’t an inside mid, but honestly it’s the best position he’s played in while at the club. He doesn’t have the speed or skills to play outside or as a small forward. Sadly he is now doing well in the one position where competition is so very stiff. I would have loved for Jetta to take him under his wing and turn him into a small defender. I was very impressed with his attack on the ball. Petty was superb. He took some incredible marks and just threw himself at the contest. I think it was the only highlight I mentioned at the start of the thread. Just hope they work him hard on his goal kicking as his technique is lacking. Lynch is a turd. His sullen look and what about me demeanor disgusts me.

Was brave and got better the wetter the day got. Sadly doesn’t impact the contest enough and doesn’t get the ball enough. Tried really hard but he’s just another average inside mid. Fine to keep as filler but he will never make it.

I’m all for chasing to fill the gaps we need, but we must be careful. Nobody is promising us that we won’t waste this window, and if at the end of the next 4,5,6 seasons we end up with no flag and having spent all our early picks on older players trying to snatch one, we are staring down another decade of pain. To be perfectly honest, right now, one even two top quality players are not going to be the difference between 17th and 1st.

Yep while poor Lever keeps getting injured every week because HE IS NOT FIT! Why the [censored] are we taking these risks in a dead season?!

We want to support a team that wins. But here we all are, failing to achieve our life goals.
