  1. Attending live matches... I hope.
  2. Yep. I’m very disappointed we haven’t been offered anything for 2021. Especially premium members who pay extra for reserved seats and GF guarantees etc. I think that unless we start next season off very well, our membership numbers will continue to plummet.
  3. He’s so great. Just ask him.
  4. Correct. The club is not selling a product. It’s selling a shared purposed. We are investing to see success like people invest to see profits. When there is no return on investment people stop financially backing an Organisation. When you think about who the club is accountable to, it is to its members. Nobody at AFL house cares if we win or lose, so long as we aren’t a financial burden on the competition. The only people who are looking at the performance of the club every year before deciding to keep it afloat with memberships and attendance, is, the supporters.
  5. I don’t know why it’s so outrageous for shareholders to want to know what is happening with the business they’re investing in. The club is asking me to fork $600+ in a very tough economy. The least they could do is tell me they’re not happy with constantly being a mediocre performer and that they’re trying to change things to improve performance. It’s what I would expect any entity reliant so heavily on investor dollars to do. Those who constantly put down members who want to know what’s going on and the plan the club has to improve is bewildering. Why shouldn’t we be entitled to the plans the club has in place? Or are we meant to be happy with a 56 year lack of success?
  6. Somewhere in internet heaven, or possibly masquerading under a different user name, Yze_Magic is weeping with joy
  7. The fact that so many old people live in Florida and how deadly Covid is to those people, should hopefully be enough to win the Democrats the election. I just don’t understand how, regardless of your political views, you could possibly vote for Trump. He is a liar. He is unsuitable for the role. He is unstable. He has done so much damage and there is the blood of over 200,000 Americans on his hands. He is a disaster. Edit: and I can never understand how women work for or vote for him. He is the biggest anti women president we’ve had in decades. If I was a women in the US I would be terrified of a Trump win.
  8. He would be best to never talk about anything. He’s an absolute dangerous [censored]. His approach to Covid is so damaging. At least there is one person in the running who I’m happy about. Harris is a very impressive individual. If I thought Americans were progressive enough to vote for a black woman for president, I would question why she isn’t the presidential candidate over Biden. But we all know old white men are the prototypes that these morons are comfortable with.
  9. Finally, 2020 delivers news that doesn't suck. Welcome home Yze!
  10. For as long as Oliver is contracted, Melbourne will not let him go. End of story. We have to play well as a team next year to make sure he re-signs. It is not rocket science that A grade players, want to play for A grade teams and play finals, not play for a mediocre nothing club.
  11. Posted on his Insta. So did his wife. That is about as much as you'll get from 26 year olds these days.
  12. Let us hope that by the time pre-season starts and he's back in Melbourne that Melbourne is no longer under these insane lockdown measures. Not just for his sake, but for the sake of all of us living here who are climbing the walls, and going broke.
  13. On record to say that 5 years is one too many. But clearly we were very keen to keep him so had to do what we had to do to make it happen.
  14. And can I also just say how happy I am that they stuck it up WA and their moronic premier who is keeping his borders shut for financial rather than medical reasons. He has been a [censored] since day one. Made it as hard as possible for the AFL. Serves him and his team right (I assume he’s an arrogant WC fan just because he carries himself like a total [censored])
  15. Never do I support a Pies win, but gees it’s nice to see West Coast lose at home. A really good win in a very tough season for them in terms of injuries and travel. But they made no excuses and got on with it. And once again.... bad goal kicking is bad football.
  16. Sometimes you need to remember that players are people with families. Oscar has copped some serious abuse from supporters and honestly if he wants out, so be it. He is far from the worst player to ever make a career for themselves in the AFL.
  17. Both teams making up numbers. Richmond will destroy Saints next week.
  18. You can see the clear drop off in skills and quality with this game. I’ve half switched off.
  19. I suppose the fact that Hawks refused to let him out of contract last year when we were chasing his hard speaks volumes of how good they think he is. Plenty of top quality coaches have come out of the Hawks camp under Clarkson. I hope Yze can be added to that list. He certainly can’t do worse than our current crop.
  20. It was a genuinely good game! One of the few I’ve seen this year that hasn’t totally made me wonder why I still bother with AFL.
  21. Brisbane winning the flag is the only way to make this season not a complete disaster. So happy to see Geelong and Richmond lose first week of the finals. I am so done with these teams. Same goes for West Coast.
  22. It’s one year and I doubt it’s big money. Not an issue. He could potentially still be tried up forward so provide some flexibility especially if Oscar is traded. Not exactly wrist slashing “let’s sign Harmes for 5 years and then play him out of position” type stuff.
  23. His mail is rarely ever wrong. The true news breaker of Demonland. Sorry Ethan.
  24. How depressing to think us and Brisbane were both bottom feeders not long ago... look at them and look at us. Good coaching is just so important.
  25. Well if they won’t get rid of Goodwin I’m glad they’re at least looking at getting him top quality support. At least then there really won’t be anymore excuses.
