  1. As that stupid advertisement says, "Why not both?". Or would that have too many of us permanently on the edge of cardiac arrest? As for the CAS count up, it may get to a lot higher than 3 ...
  2. When we win it, there will be a lot of racket ... :-)
  3. Didn't think social climbers would be your type. BBO
  4. Thanks OD, but there is not much competition ...
  5. Ok, I should have said "Everyone makes mistakes, but I could be wrong about that"
  6. Everyone makes mistakes
  7. That can fixed (and DC did it for me!)
  8. WJ, this is about the only thread on Demonland that can't be derailed ...
  9. Yes, clearly the first thing up against the wall when the revolution comes is a few uppity suburbs whose reputation has long exceeded their true worth. Throw in a few footy clubs in some of those suburbs (Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon) and now you are talking ...
  10. Shouldn't it be spelt d-d-d-d-dick?
  11. Nice work, DC (especially the grammar Nazi twist at the end). Pick-your-own Dick's Creek it seems ...
  12. Plenty of interesting phrases in that artcile, Dr John. "Toes that gave it away", "barely worthy of a junks shop" and probably my favourite "like something you'd find in a doctor's surgery". I think he is probably stretching things by stating that "I'm not even sure that Cezanne could speak English, let alone write about a man in Calcutta," .. who knows what he got up to in his spare time? BTW I thought some maps showed Hopping Dicks Creek as Kangaroo Richard Waters ...
  13. Sounds like a great opportunity to set up a Museum of Dodgy Antiquities in Hopping Dicks Creek. Earl and Biff seem to have a handle on supplying the goods, Dr John can curate it and BBO and DC organise exhibitions of relevant artefacts. Win-win-win!
  14. Haven't you heard? Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me-e-e, for ME-E!!!!
  15. Baritone more likely, but not far off. Believe it or not, there is no footy at the moment (although Redleg may soon expand the countdown to include one to the start of pre-season training ... )
  16. There must be an app that can help you with that? Perhaps put them in braille or something and see if she notices. There is an old Masonic code called the pigpen cipher which you may find helpful ... doesn't like like a message to those not in the know (but don't tell anyone).
  17. Herbologist are you, Earl? How about some advice on parsley, rosemary and thyme as well?
  18. Shouldn't that be "Hut!"
  19. We'll need about another 3 menus for that ...
  20. But can you get Bananas in Pyjamas in the Bahamas?
  21. Now it is a three-course meal, then RL?
  22. The ghost who walks was always like that .... must be jungle drums or something
  23. What about the non-odd posts? Oh wait ...
  24. Let alone the balls of a sour chicken (which, come to think of it, sounds like good advice )
