  1. You’re the proof.
  2. So, highly paid professional coaching outfits roll out a question, that you feel as bogus, and it’s contingent on us to disprove your random claims..? #lifestooshort
  3. You’ve offered no facts to support your feelings..!? chirp
  4. Mitch, having come to the AFL later than many (via VFL) is often seen as more experienced (thus having higher expectations) than should be required of him. As a 3rd year player, coming into his fourth, he’s exactly where you’d want him (despite the injury riddled 2019), committed, proven form and building his ability to consistently play And contribute at top level. His sealer in the final vs Geelong, ability to accelerate into contested situations and skill around goal are all big assets if developed property. Expecting a good 2020 From Mr Hannan.
  5. I think the AFL are more interested in making the draft night entertaining for TV than making it fairer for the clubs. So making it a strategic version of “Bingo” makes sense, keeps the punters interested and ratings higher. its all about the $$$$
  6. This is ideal, only area where he’s average is endurance which can be developed under a good fitness program (I.e. “bingo”). that disposal, contested and agility are all elite marks him as serious talent.
  7. It’s also looking at the decisions of 2018 (I.e. not putting players to surgery during season so we can make finals) in the context of what happened in 2017, where we missed finals by the smallest margin in the history of the game... Only the MFC can dish this stuff up. But our time is coming! Go Demons
  8. It’s a great test, pressure, no obvious solution, do they freeze or shoot..? Could/would be critical in the heat of a game...
  9. I think the possibility and push to play our first final in a loooong while would adequately explain this. We rolled the dice and lost, twice... once in Perth and then throughout 2019. Good lessons for a maturing group.
  10. Now that we no longer have the pleasure of yelling “Frosty” as he steams wildly down the ground (before kicking to...?), being able to yell “McAssssssey!” Seems fair compensation. ?
  11. So we’re now at Bennell, Langdon, Tomlinson, pick 3 & pick 8. with Murray being groomed and Martin a long shot... Good haul so far, bring on season 2020!!!
  12. That’s fair enough, and in your profession view how do those drugs compare to the damage and destruction done by alcohol?
  13. Was curious to hear thoughts on how well we’ve traded out when the player was happy or keen to stay? I.e. Frosty, Watts, Clark, Dunn, etc... Did we get a good deal, has the player played better and made it a poor deal..? I’m NOT talking about when a player wants to go to another club I.e. Hogan, Howe for various reasons. Thoughts?
  14. I’m assuming you mean aside from those “drug users” using caffeine, alcohol, tobacco and prescription drugs if all sorts..? ?
  15. Sounds like we’re trying to encourage Freo to take Jackson prior to our pick 8, so as to ensure we get who we really want I.e. Kemp, etc... at 8.
  16. This has got all the elements To indicate that we’ve been into Harley for a while, let the media ruminate then made our move. Fingers crossed we can get his calves sorted, massive get if it bears fruit.
  17. I reckon it will take GWS at least a year to recover from this years capitulation in the GF, as we know too well.
  18. Wanga - pick 12, did alright out of the back pocket... and was well worth the pick.

It’s Chris Judd all over again... oh the horror and he barracked for the Demons!!! ???

If Martin doesn’t want to engage and explore the possibility of being in red and blue next year, then let’s move on. Not sook to the AFL Not blow our budget its Really no big deal, he’s a player who’s not achieved a lot despite evident potential and talent.
  21. I don’t think GWS have the currency to do a deal that would sate us. Them getting Green and another top 10 this year won’t happen, as a result. And that’s only a good thing.

Thanks Rusty! Not a fan of “Dees” either, only use it when loudly acting like a pompous git will really [censored] off the Dons/Hawks/Cats fans around me. There’s something about being beaten by a bunch of effeminate snobs that really upsets them... ?

Don’t call me “dude” dude! I’m not one of the myopic pessimists on this site unable to integrate data beyond this season into a more balance view of our prospects. I’m well aware we finished 17th, you (and your fellow myopic pessimists) don’t need to repeat it over and over... we’re all aware of the [censored] year we just had. But prior to that we’d been improving year on year for 4 years and in 2018 we were in the preliminary final. So a balanced view would take that all into account, and on that basis put us well ahead of Carlton, despite the horror of this year. so go demons. ?

Easy pass for mine. He clearly has little ambition (aspires to join Carlton ffs) beyond earning more cash, and has minimal understanding of how he can join or contribute to a successful team. I suspect he’s loath to consider us because with Langdon, Fritz etc... he might have to work hard to justify the bickies he wants. next.
