  1. Agree, and an absolutely fair enough expectation.
  2. Don't know which game you were watching, but Kennedy and Darling were well held. Easily their two most damaging forwards were very much accounted for. As I saw it, the main problem was (as usual) our terrible inside 50 connection.
  3. It appeared to me to be close to an exhibition game in terms of player effort from both sides. Given they knew the season was suspended, and quite possibly over, it was effectively a dead rubber. Whilst I agree about our i50, I doubt (*hope) this is the standard they will continue with.

Lockdown dobbing-in has become the new national sport, it would appear.
  5. Thank god for the ignore function.
  6. Some countries might consider kangaroo, crocodile or camel meat exotic. Yet I can get all three from the Vic Market most weeks! They aren't butchered in front of me, but I believe a virus in animals are often difficult to spot throughout the meat supply chain. An avian virus may not present symptoms in the bird, but can make a human sick. Does the animal have to be eaten to transfer a virus? Could it be feacal contact (hendra from bat s**t)? Yesterday I heard an interview with a imunologist where he expressed surprise that a major pandemic of this scale hadn't happened sooner. After SARS and MEARS a broadbased vaccine should've been a priority years ago for world leaders and WHO.
  7. In breaking news: children have been ordered to stay at least 1.5m away from George Pell

Especially if they trade out future 1st rounders for injury prone 'stars' like they have with Wingard and Omeara
  9. That is one very passionate supporter. Good on him! We'll done Andy, too.

They could play with masks, gowns and gloves. You know it makes sense.
  11. Cost saver: MFC players make a stand and take a pay cut of up to 80% (sliding scale) until October. Those earning the most cut the most. The benefit to players could be possible contract extensions, backending a limited % of contract, or increased PR/media opportunities next season, etc
  12. If you have the time (hahaha!) this is interesting listening from a doctor on the front line in one of NYC's best hospitals
  13. 2020 branded merch will become collectors items, albeit of little financial value

    Well spotted. Good point Red.

    What is she, a zombie????
  16. No love for Crackers Keenan? He both started with us and was picked up again by us. And Big Carl Ditterich, who was picked up by us twice!
  17. I noticed in R1 (fwiw) that our forwards regularly led up, only for the kick coming in to go over their head and into the arms of an Eagles defended. Even the TV commentators were onto it. Surely it can't be rocket surgery to practice leading patterns at training over and over and over and over with kicks coming in that hit them flush? Footy is a pretty simple game, when it's all boiled down. We overcomplicate it and then panic when going i50, have been for the last few years

Yes, but the 50% pay cut so far is only for a few months, so his $1mill becomes about $850k. Poor guy... thoughts and prayers

Just saw a very sweet slice of quarantine life. Two young lovers in jogging gear in Royal Park, clearly pretending to be doing their exercise for the day so they could steal a moment together. Not ashamed to say I had a slight catch in my throat as I called the police.
  20. Get a job fellas!!! ?

The old die (redistributing wealth), universal basic wage of $1500 fortnightly, nationalisation of the private hospitals and now free child care! As I've said before: coronavirus has managed to do what Bernie Sanders could not!!! (albeit in Australia)
  22. Bit rough having ads for 'lady friends' when they know we can't go out and use those services...
