  1. Let's put Pythagoras at CHB. Knows how to switch play.
  2. If he wants to go, that would be a good result for the bombers
  3. The irony is for the equivalent game at the G last year we had Fitzy at FB against Boyd and he rogered him to the point where Boyd was subbed. Fitzy had a run of good games in the back line at Casey and then demolished Boyd. But for the sake of my post, let's turn a blind eye to his tunnel ball for one moment..... please.
  4. I believe it's about continuous years of service to one club. Nev didn't have a year off, he's been on our list each year since he started.
  5. Now your just making [censored] up. Helps if you don't take individual posts in a conversation in isolation, ie. context. If you read through my replies you'll see I was referring all along to what Roos said in his presser. Keep up man! Maybe you should email Roos your wisdom re Frost. He's probably never thought of that before......
  6. Did you miss Roosy's presser where he said he preferred not to play players coming back from injury too soon (eg OMac) or out of form (eg Dunn)? I guess he weighed up Garland vs those guys and chose Garland as the best option. Not ideal, agreed. Pedo was chop out ruck and 2nd tall forward, so going back would've made Gawn ruck 100% and put more pressure on Hogan/Watts. Frost is a badly out of form forward, so probably not going to be picked as a kpd. Dawes is a kpf not yet ready for AFL seniors, hardly played in 6 mths. So that leaves OMac on your list, who is coming back from concussion a couple of weeks ago, so again no. And your last paragraph is not what I claim as a premise, it's what Roos said, so yes, it is relevant.
  7. And which tall back that is in form or not coming back from injury would you have picked? Roos' whole point was that there were none available. It's not a selection table mistake because there was none to play unless out of desperation. Thus your point is irrelevant.
  8. Missing the point stu. We had no other in form or fit tall back to play. Roos said he wants to play guys who are right to go rather than in despiration.
  9. Fix the set shot routine. The Ox was on the money. To those who say his ratio goals to behinds (which doesn't include oob) is ok, I say it would be much better with a straight, smooth approach. Yesterday is was laughable. All the great right foot kpf's throughout the last 40 years had a smooth straight approach, and I don't include JKennedy in that club.
  10. Selective quote. Roos went on to say he didn't have another tall that was ready to play in seniors due to injury, form or fitness.
  11. Got a bit sick of the hoi polloi remonstrating with umpires by waving a copy of Fin Review and threatening to never again order the roast beef from the Long Room menu. "Well done 33! Put that fellow into the fence!...... anyone for another cucumber sandwich or an Earl Gray?" Back to the outer for me. Ps. I believe I saw a certain moral compass demonlander lecturing the crowd around him in the members. Fortunately I texted the abusive behaviour hotline and he was quickly removed
  12. It's a shame the the districts of Romsey do not have the same internet connection issues that you experience Dr Dickhopper. It would be a blessing to all here.
  13. The head gear helps protect against cuts and bone fractures but not concussion, which is more about the brain being banged around (for want of a better phrase) inside the head from sudden impact. As others have mentioned on another thread, the head gear can sometimes have the effect of giving the wearer a false sense of security and propensity to take greater risks.
  14. No it wasn't high. Replay showed it to be.
  15. I like the name of this thread. It will surely be a panic by us if he doesn't re-sign by year's end.
  16. He interviews very well does our Bernie. Loved when he talked about one day playing his 100th game for the club.
  17. You can always tell a teacher... but you can't tell 'em much.
  18. Keep winning games and developing this culture we are seeing. That's our best opportunity to retain Hogan. Not to mention a fair bit of soldi.
