Really sick of the continual vacuum of experienced, quality leaders. It's been groundhog day, 10 years since we've had one, maybe longer. That and a couple of A grade mids in the team at the same time.

Composure is certainly not one of our strengths We still lack leadership and an A grade mid who will grab the game by the scruff

As I've said in other threads, that sprayed inside 50 kick by Vince with less than a min to go was simply dumb football. Made no attempt to spot up a teammate. Could've sealed the game. That will be the no 1 blooper on his tapes this week. For an experienced veteran in a team desperate for leadership and a cool head, that to me says he's near the end. Loved his efforts in the year he won the Bluey, but I'm looking forward to a time when he cannot get a game. Leg speed going, decision making slipping... the end not far away.

Surprisingly seems to happen when there is a tight passage of play, eg. when there's a shot on goal. AFL at their tightest.

Vince's rushed, wobbly torp into the forward 50 with less than a min to go shows he can be a dumb footballer at critical times. Made no attempt to lower his eyes and spot up a teammate. Would've sealed the game. Dumb football by a seasoned veteran.

If we cannot win these games in the first half of the season when our draw is favorable, we are certainly going to get torn a new one in the second half of the season

There was a great pic going around of the 3 Brayshaw boys in the bath as young kids and then as adults striking the same pose. Anyone able to find it?

Loved watching Fred Cook kick a bag each week at Port when I was young. One of the true characters of footy, good and bad. The old VFA grand finals were always an eventful day. Port featured in many.

Plays different position to Danger, as you mention, but IIRC Omac has had quite a few games with 20+ possies, especially 2nd half of last year. Someone with better stats could answer exactly. Not bad for a newbie KPD.

Kruezer has been a cruiser for most of his career. Give us another experienced A grade mid and I'd kiss Mahoney, Taylor and Todd on the lips, maybe with a bit of tongue thrown in for free.
