  1. I know Aussie rules is famous for its eccentricities, but it beats me why the grounds aren't all the same dimensions, particularly when most of them are relatively new. Seems silly that consistency of size isn't considered when the AFL is planning ahead
  2. Pardon my ignorance, but where's Lynch? Is he injured? If he plays, GC have Lynch and Day, two tall, agile, capable forwards. Might be time for Frost or for Tmac to spend some time back. After all, we are playing 3 talls forward - Weid, Hogan and Tmac
  3. Man, don't know what you were watching today. His tackling is fine. Gus is one of the few on our list who can kick either side comfortably. And if you think Harmes is a good kick, well, that is just plain silly.
  4. Tim Watson? Who's he? Irrelevant.
  5. Loving the hard work being put in by Jones, Oliver and Brayshaw
  6. Deeluded??? Is this the real Deeluded?
  7. Port to fall. Swans are a chance too. Struggling to win at the SCG, believe it or not
  8. Vince yes. We have a couple of RFAs to re-sign ourselves don't we? Tmac and Nev?
  9. Uncle will be too busy on Saturday due to his position as patron for this noble cause World naked gardening day
  10. You're illiterate ?
  11. Tim Watson in "a state of disbelief" over Bomber Thompson. Marginally better than the state of denial he has had over the Essendon PED farce. Will be a very interesting EFC premiership reunion.coming up soon. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/tim-watson-in-a-state-of-disbelief-over-mark-thompson-charges-20180502-p4zcsy.html
  12. Ross Lyon is a naughty little boy
  13. Weid halved at least every contest that I saw. The two big marks he took in the last were as good as any in the match. That made me take note immediately. His kicking lacks power and accuracy, but as his confidence builds, so too will his game. I'd definitely keep him in the seniors and am excited to see his progress over the year. Harmes frustrates me more than most in the team. He gets a fair bit of the ball but his use is often poor. I love his agression at the opposition, but he gives away a lot of 50/50 balls as well as numerous free kicks. I'm aware he's only played 50 games and has potential, so is also worth persisting with. I think ANB is on thin ice, particularly if Trac is ready to return. Bernie might also need a spell soon. Match ups and balance vs the Saints will be a determining factor as well
  14. Clint please can you do this every game we play?! ?
  15. Very team oriented game. Sublime foot skills. The long, low pass to TMac was a cracker
  16. I like Weid as the 2nd or 3rd tall up forward. He's growing in size and confidence. His 2 big marks in second half were great to see. He tired as the game went on. Worth persisting with in the seniors
  17. Thanks Drunkn. Much appreciated. So much for our so-called depth. Take our bottom 4 or 5 AFL 22 and Casey might be competitive
  18. Cracker of a melody! Great lyrics
  19. WTF??? How bout we offer up everyone and fold?
