  4. Too many easy marks for WCE.
  5. Jones zero chance of running down Shuey
  6. Sounds a lot like our 'not guilty' tanking fine of $500k!
  7. You are correct Ethan. They cannot piggy back or intentionally lift a teammate or pyramid up to increase the chances of touching the kick for goal. Having said that, I'd like them to try the Aussie Eurovision contestant's balancing pole
  8. It's more than that. The whole ground of Goschs would need to be re-profiled to give it consistent, industry standard camber. As a reference, this oval surface in Royal Park has just been resurfaced and has taken approx 5 mths so far and is still cordoned off with temp fencing while sufficient grass returns. Which in turn begs the question: have we looked at one of the ovals in Royal Park as an option? Could lease and/or develop Brens Pav or similar nearby as the sports development centre of RP. Could co-use with hockey/netball which is next to the zoo. There are 3 ovals here and 5 off Park St next to the crappy golf course. Thoughts?
  9. Like it. If we continue to bomb it long (which as sure as night follows day we will) Hurn, Gov and Barrass will sling shot it back into our chaotic backline. Bring it in low and ugly.

Peter Hudson used a torp for set shots. Twiggy Dunn used a torp to level scores with 40 sec left in the famous drawn GF of 1977

A torp worked for Lynden Dunn!
  13. Must be on 'the good stuff' ?
  14. Probably not dc. Like the MCG they would be protective of the turf
  15. Yes, one of the differences between some of our suggestions and Collingwood's take over of OP is that OP wasn't parkland, but an already existing sporting facility, and a run down one at that. It will be very hard to convince govt/s and other interest groups that replacing parkland with ovals or sports buildings can be sufficiently justified to the wider public.
  16. Unfortunately, can't see the govt permitting further loss of green open space in the area
  17. Hi Misso!
  18. Slight side track, but I like the idea of team prior opportunity. If a player is under pressure and dishes off a handball to a teammate he shouldn't get the benifit of 'no prior. Also, rules such as the 5m protected zone and obstruction of the 50m penalty are ridiculous and harsh and draw unnecessary negative attention to the umpires.
