Yes our defence was very good against a non oppositional forward line. Centre clearances and movement into the forward line are a worry. That is 2 weeks in a row I have watched garbage football but we won.

A good game in trying conditions. I think both sides are playing decent footy. We need Harris to clunk a couple and try and feed Bannnon the ball. Lampard, Paxman and Hanks have had good games.

I am talking about us winning a prelim final. Casey is better. Backsides on seats or looking for next year is irrelevant. Since when is the MCG going to be the girls home ground from next year. First I have heard of it.

We should be playing at Casey as the G is too neutral which will aid the bears. Casey has been a fortress.

Lever in and tomlinson out. Port have small forwards so I would keep Hunt but he must be on notice. If we play next Thursday then I don't believe Brown will play.

Essenscum did to us what we have done to many sides over the years. They dragged us down to their level. I thaught the standard very poor from both sides but at least we have learnt the caper of winning even when we are not playing well. Essenscum are completely shizenhausen which for me is a real positive.

Problem is they are a young inexperienced side who we really don't know how they will play. Just have to be switched on which is probably the hardest part.

I have never really whinged about the umps and the dogs but what I saw that quarter was ridiculous. There is a severe problem.
