We played like arrogant toffs. I never want to see Tomlinson or TMAC in the side again. Some players need a kick up the shizenhausen for their efforts today. We need Gawn back badly.

We look flustered. It will take the bombers to drop off for us to have any hope.

Have a look at last nights game and play the way Sydney did, especially in the last. Usually a better skilled and experienced side gets it done in the wet. However my MFCSS is banging away at my posterior muscles as is usual on gameday.

That new bloke in the suns forward line looks alright. Hope they stay in front.

We played pretty ordinary footy at Waverley. Of course the Fitzroy game was the worst. The most annoying thing about Waverley was the fact they used White Crow tomato sauce to put on your pies.

We lost to Fitzroy in rd 17 1979 by 190 points. I will never forget the trip home from Waverly. Devastating.

Rest Brown for next week. Bring Kosi in. If Hibberd is injured then don't play him but I thaught he was a good player today.

A most enjoyable day at the MCG. What is more against a bogey side. Grundy was excellent today and I can't wait for max to be back and in form to watch those 2. Frittas goal in the third was my moment of the day. And Van Roo had a great 1st up. My beer is tasting excellent.

Can't see us winning. The side looks disjointed and we don't know how to play under Grundy. It is not a last chance however as next week will have to be the "begining" of our season. Without max we are like a ship out of water and it takes a while to learn how to float again. I hope I am wrong.
