  1. I somehow don't think Lewis factored in the possibility of giving away a free kick when deciding not to bother shepherding ....
  2. Fritsch out? Are you on drugs? He is so good ... an absolute find. Agree with Smith + Lewis out. Agree with someone else's reference to ANB as a momentum killer. Dropped marks, turnovers, missed shots for goals at crucial times.
  3. Hey, what about Jimmy T?
  4. Terrible performance by Socceroos ...
  5. That happened at Melbourne too. Team mates just didn't trust him.
  6. How dare you compare ANYONE with the late great Robbie Flower !!!!! Hang your head in shame FE !!!!!
  7. He's a ripper. Reminds me of Gunston ... Jack, not Norman. (Yeah, yeah, I've posted this before.)
  8. It is 100% correct. I used to go to the footy (Melbourne matches) with Andrew, his mother and younger brother. All Demons! Father was (and is still presumably) a Tigers supporter. His younger brother used to be a Tigers supporter too, but changed to Demons. I bet he regrets that !!!!
  9. I've always been envious of other sides who bring in new players who seem to slot in straight away. I can't remember offhand a Melbourne player like that ... until now. He looks like he belongs !!! I realise that young players often lack consistency, and CS will no doubt have his good and bad games. But he looks a ripper !!!
  10. Actually it was closer to 20 seconds ...
  11. Agreed. Other than - Point of order LH. The goal v Essendon wasn't after the siren. After he kicked the goal, there was a centre bounce and about another 60 seconds of the match. I was there. Couldn't actually watch him taking the kick, but have watched the replay dozens of times !!!!
  12. Bomber Thompson ... James Hird ... no wonder everyone loves Essendon !!! hahahahahaha
  13. Yes, he'll make us pay ... part of his salary
  14. Bit of name dropping in this thread!! Healing Force released that absolute classic "Golden Miles". Mal Logan (keyboards) is a good mate of mine. (Also a long time Tigers' supporter: he's still in seventh heaven!!)
  15. In October 1994, Beitzel was sentenced to 18 months jail, with a minimum of eight months to be served, after pleading guilty to obtaining financial advantage by deception over matters related to his work for a lottery organisation.[2] He served his sentence initially at Pentridge Prison and then at the open, minimum-security Morwell River Prison Farm. Beitzel strenuously denied that he had ever intentionally committed a crime.
  16. Last night's match was easily his best match for MFC.
  17. Agree with most posters. He has really underperformed. Hopefully he puts in a good one today.
