The drug cheats are excruciatingly bad. Goddard should retire. I hate Goddard, I hate the drug cheats, I hate the Toiges. What a crap match. I think I'll do a cryptic crossword.
-
Like most others I hate Etihad. Despite that I'm going to the match.

I was at the Sporting Globe watching the match with my son. I've followed Demons for 50 years. This side is the best side I've seen in that time ... better than the Johnny Northey side of the late 80s/early 90s and Daniher sides of the 90s. I'm in shock. Had the best afternoon!! -

Make it 4. Johnny Northey is pretty deserving too. -
He'd want to be a better administrator than he was as a player.

I was there too. Nice goal by Gary "Brownless" Lyons. Lucky that Wrensted missed for WC.

He's a ripper. Reminds me of Gunston ... Jack, not Norman. (Yeah, yeah, I've posted this before.)

The side is so much better for the inclusion of Fritsch, Spargo and even Bull and the improved form of Brayshaw. And, sadly I guess for the non inclusion of Bugg, Frost, Stretch, Wagner who all fit into the NQR category. There are some others who are sadly out of form but in form are in the best 22, or close to it e.g. Garlett, Hunt. Not sure where Tyson fits in. Nor Kent.. although he's invariably injured. -

Excruciatingly bad match. Umpires favouring the filth. -
Lyon Questions Viney Selection

Are you talking about Gary "Brownless" Lyons ? -
It is 100% correct. I used to go to the footy (Melbourne matches) with Andrew, his mother and younger brother. All Demons! Father was (and is still presumably) a Tigers supporter. His younger brother used to be a Tigers supporter too, but changed to Demons. I bet he regrets that !!!!

I like Pedo, but his ship has sailed. He will only get worse. Weeds's current form is OK at best, but his presence in the team is good, particularly structurally. He at least makes a contest up forward, and provides relief to Max in the ruck. There was a song in Sound of Music "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" Delete the name "Maria" and substitute "Tyson". He is a real worry. IMHO the side looks much better without Wagner and even Jeffy (when he's so out of form/disinterested). Spargo is a revelation. And Fritsch. They just look like players who can play a role and have slotted in well. Posters' opinions of Lewis have been divided. I have been less than impressed with him. He played a ripper game yesterday. No turnovers or falling over. The side has, at last, 6 A graders or potential A graders. Viney Oliver Gawn Hibbert Hogan Petracca (potential) and TMac isago pretty close. A few years ago the closest to an A grader was Jones. -
I was thinking of watching the match at the Sporting Globe in Richmond. Is that a good place to watch the match? Are any other Demonlanders going there? Is it too dorky to wear a Demons' scarf? Hello, is anyone still reading this?
