NON-MFC: Round 15
I'd like our midfield to be a clone of Brisbanes. They move with speed, are clean and kick with precision. The anti Melbourne.

NON-MFC: Round 15
This last qtr is like watching one of our games.

Wow Wee. Great footy.

Time to go Goody?
Also helps if you can flip farms to attract top line free agents every few years. I'm sure we'd look a different outfit with Dangerfield, Cameron and now Smith running around. Not a bad lifestyle over that side of the bay playing on a home ground paid for by taxpayers.

Time to go Goody?
I work with a bloke whos son plays for Yarra, gets to most home games and had abit to do with Johnson while at the club. He's never had a bad word but I'll ask about this scuttlebutt when I see him monday.

Time to go Goody?
Left field but get Stevie Johnson down in some capacity. Let's start with forward line coach. Coached Yarrawonga to a flag in 2023. Lost GF by 3pts in '24. Currently has his team sitting 2nd in the Geelong league. Listening on the radio seems a very astute footy analyst.

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Skip the 2nd qtr and early part of the 3rd. Just as frustrating. We were ever so close to Melbourning that game as well. I was slipping down a dark tunnel that night lemme tell ya.

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Just so frustrated. I'd like to tee off on all the things I've said before but I can't be bothered. Maybe tomoz.

GAMEDAY: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Imagine if our coach was McRae.

NON-MFC: Round 14
Good grief. I got the the answer from the first reply. Didn't stop a bunch of peanuts from jumping out their seats since tho'🙄 And we didn't get a flag for him. That's conjecture. Mays been good. Sparrow ..... Meh.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
I dunno. These long term contracts spook me. Any stat they come up with that's topped by Jake Stringer in a contract year is sketchy AF as far as I'm concerned. And Shai Bolton we've hardly heard a peep from since he got his Freo pay day. Dangers the only one up there with any real consistency over any amount of time. We paid Oliver and he went off the rails. Tracs not interested in the hard ball anymore. I'm kinda with Kane Cornes. I don't like it but we can't afford to lose him. I also think Pickett would've blown that stat sheet out've the water if he was cleaner with his hands and a reliable kick for goal. That's right. I said what I said.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
ElDiablo14 said - One thing I would like to applaud from the club yesterday is the perceived physicality and agression our guys brought from the word go. We have complained many times how we let those thugs bully us around every time we played against them. But yesterday was for sure a step in the right direction, let's keep it that way with this mob. Fork 'em - replied Nah , Got the Beemer booked in for a service tomoz. wouldn't want to get hurt.

Well obviously you can. But you can't enjoy all the perks and then spurn the risks. And there is a difference between bravery and stupidity. No-one expect them to take stupid risks.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Yeah I get all that but when it boils down that's why they're gettin' paid. It's also danger money. They're often referred to as modern day gladiators. Can't demand ya million bucks a year and enjoy all the perks then spurn all the risk. Gotta make sure you're in tip top nick for all those overseas holidays ya know.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Must admit I lost touch with reality for abit after the Brisbane and Swans games. Even yesterday proved we can match it with anyone on the day. Inconsistent effort and accuracy in front of goal is our nemesis.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Was going to suggest the same but been to our power crazed HR dept a few times over the last couples years so. Maybe not.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Yeah that was an instant reply to a goal that put us level pegging I think.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Nah, look at our set shot kicking as a whole. They've all got the yips in front of goal. They all go for the round the corner kick or play on. That's lack of confidence IMO. Who do you look at in our side with a set shot and think .... " this one's going through." Me , I can't freakin' look when we need a goal and they're having a set shot.... At any of 'em.

Well honestly. When the pressure kicks come for goal at Collingwood in the last qtrs for example. I think the mindset is "We kick these. Cause that's what we do." I think ours is the opposite. That's why we got guys playing on from inside 50 to avoid the pressure.
