That is an issue, but a big slab of white blocking out much of the jumper isn't the answer.

That shows exactly why they do use a white background for our home jumper. And a black for our white jumper. Common sense.

Just as much contrast in this logo.

It may be working, but the above logo works just as if not more effectively than the big white slab.

That was good and well for Primus. But Hankook's logo is in black writing. Kinda needs a white background otherwise its pointless being on the jumper. Its not a 'waste' - its what is needed to be done.

My only concern about Trengove is how good Dustin Martin looks right at the moment.

Great pick up. I had heard of him around the traps but had not seen that footage until last night.

The high flying is all good and well, but what looks good is his work once it hits the deck.

Also, what I like most is the grab he takes at the start of the highlights running back with the flight. Cant teach that.

I think actually it is his decision-making at crucial times. I can think of two occasions last year where you could argue his poor decisions cost us the game, particularly against the Dogs in the rain at the MCG. I think he is similar to Bruce in that respect, and that is why i believe he wont be in our best 22 when we vie for the flag.

i agree, it is higher - however it is more pointed. hopefully it is just that high on a junior jumper. we shall see. i would prefer the blue to meet the red at the shoulder about where the afl logo is myself though.

Cam Schwab has been talking about since he became CEO making the jumper a darker blue with a sharper V like back in the day.

Our policy is too rigid regarding age. Bruce was one of the FITTEST guys in the team and his form is good. No, they just looked at the calendar and said, "See you Cam!"

The good thing about policy is that it is the same for everyone. For one to think they are above such rules is laughable. If you want flexibility you don't make a policy in the first place. Pretty simple

You could call it negotiate, or call it not being bent over by a player not only trying to bend club policy but also overestimating his worth.

On Ch 9 news tonight - Bruce is training with Hawthorn - adding fuel to the rumours he will be picked up by the Hawks in the national draft.

Bruce has not nominated for the national draft, so is headed to the PSD. Obviously will nominate terms and the way it goes these days there is no doubt he will end up at the hawks.

Good for him. We gave him the chopper so we can't blame him even though many on this forum do. Let him get on with his footy career. Would have preferred another team but that's how it goes I guess.

Just noticed on one of the Melbourne pages an ad for a mob i wasnt aware had any dealings with the MFC. THis prompted me to check the Corporate partners page to see whos on our list of chums these days and was quite pleasantly surprised to see its grown a bit. This has to be good

So from a bunch of leppers were forging a club whos association is now sought after. My, how things have changed !! Can only expect this to get better as success begets successful additions.
