We have enough elite abilities to develop. And the chances of finding them late is slim.We need some more hard workers to balance it out.

Luckily enough we have potential elite developing who are also extremely hard workers

Melbourne under Bailey has made some tough calls of late (I believe correct calls) in axing players that for the better part of the 00's have been our better players. The way White, Yze, Robbo and now Bruce and Junior have left has been less than desirable, although necessary, I'm concerned that a lot of these players must be quite disillusioned with the club and their place within it.

All those guys you mentioned were back around the club last year, don't worry mallee the boys are fine

Bruce has nothing to apologize for, I'd like to say thankyou for your service, on your game you were a Rolls Royce (damn that bump by Pickett). Further to that, sorry about some of the short memories around here, (allthough if I was a player I'd never read a club forum) I'm glad you got yourself a two year deal you deserve it.

Because Tom McNamara has been training with the rest of the group, so either someone forgot to lodge a form, or someone who wrote the list forgot to cross check it.

What Gooner has pointed out really makes BP & the recruiting staff task very diddicult.It will be very interesting whom we pick- but I believe some experienced players will be in the mix at least.IMO at least two of the five will be experienced footballers either from the AFL or other leagues.I might add- I thought with Bruce leaving we now have 5 picks in the National draft & 5 rookie picks. I understand we may only take 4 picks in the National leaving a pick in the PRE SEASON DRAFT- Am I correct or wrong again?

Veteran list spot freed up by Bruce gives us an extra rookie selection. We only have 4 spots on the primary list.

Which most premiership sides do or have tried to do. It's common practice, so yeah I expect it to happen with us also.

Everyone here is pretty big on predictions, ie the complete unknown...Gysberts, maybe - he bolted out of the gates, then came back to earth with a thud! Bail got some good garbage stats but is still untested. Tapscott and Blease done nothing. Morton has been promising that "next year is his year!" for past 3 years! Dunn finally started showing some flashes...

Gysberts came back to earth with a thud? He got injured, not dropped for poor form.

Bail got garbage stats? Do you actually watch our games? You call his stats garbage in a thread about Bruce?

I would take 1 of Bails possessions instead of 5 of Bruce any single day of the week.
