Sue unless there are alternatives there will be no vote. Over the last six year I have attended every AGM there has never been a vote for board Positions The simple reason no one challenged the incumbents. The MFC probably does not need a bun fight for positions on the board. What we need is a large change of board members, we need orderly change. If that happens I will be satisfied.

The big thing about getting a proven coach is they start with credibility. That enables them to weather the very hard times ahead. No one will be asking half way through the first year can this person coach? We will all know they can, so it therefore must be the players.

After all the crap that has been heaped on her she has turned out to be correct in a few areas. I will add GD to that I used to hate him but again he got quite a few things right. Both have gained credence in the last three months.

I don't bare the guy any ill will. I hope he plays well for the swans in WA.

No need to apologise McQueen You did call me a liar or names. The rest is only our individual opinions. However I do seriously believe it is our last chance. We are still far from out of the woods and it will be a long haul after half a decade of abject failure on and off the field.

It is now ancient history HH We are all clever with hindsight. Lets concentrate on the the future because IMO this is our last chance.

Sue I always had the view that Jk's comments about mergers etc were aimed at stirring the MFC up and getting it moving. In the absence of any alternative I am prepared to listen to his views. I think he is sincere in his reasons for offering himself.

How are you so confident of that AF? he has given no indication he wants to coach again. At the end of 2012 there were two jobs available. I believe if he wanted either he could have had them. I doubt he wants to be a head coach again.

TT In my wildest dreams I just don't see it happening. He has given no indication he is interested in coaching again anywhere. Let alone a basket case of a list like the MFC.

In my view what the MFC needs and has since 2007 Is an experienced successful coach. There are only a few of those around who are not currently contracted. In my order are Mathews- shows absolutely no desire to return to coaching, not one scintilla. Roos - again I see little interest, but on the last occasion I saw he did not say definitely not Eade - a chance perhaps now Neeld is gone but why would you leave Collingwood for the Dees? Williams - appears to want another top gig. He is probably the only realistic option. I am under whelmed but he has won a flag! Sheedy - will be available next year. Gee not a lot to choose from is there Williams might get it by default.
