Mate I have been giving compassion for the last half century and we are now way further done the mine than we were 50 years ago. It does not look like it is working to me. I have no understanding of remote area people's problems but I known intimately two families in Melbourne with drug and gambling problems. Compassion and understanding seems to have had bugger all success in these cases.

Now now TBF While I have just had the worst ten days I can remember health wise I don't intend shuffling off any time yet. Family came home from Bali and all went down with gastro and try As I might I could not avoid it. I had Mrs OD in Hospital on Saturday and then I succumbed on Sunday. Spent the next three days in bed with the worst gastro I can remember in 37 years. Make you appreciate how well off you are when you are just well. Go Dees

After the initial first months problems with the iPad it is now running as sweet as I could imagine.Typing this on it now dc The laptop is a work computer so I have no choice but to put up with it. However when my own PC dies I think I will be visiting the Apple shop. I have a number of friends on Android who all report good results pity they don't make a pc operating system. The problem with Apple is their hardware is so expensive compared to PC. But I guess as my brother keeps reminding me " Price does not matter if it won't work"

Cup day here on Tuesday mate so after this week i am taking monday off.The windows 8 laptop has been retired to the floor under my desk till then so hopefully my humour will return over the next five days. It is just that I hate being beaten by Dell and Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!
