hh I find this theme untrue ( I am trying hard to be nice ). The MFC would not beat the Pies and Cats in 2014 no matter where or who we played the week before those games. The simple fact is we are a poor side and have been ever since we started going to the NT. In the last seven years we have won a handful of games each year, we have hardly ever won two in a row. The simple fact is good sides win games no matter where they are staged. The poor ones don't. Please get over the NT games.

Funny billy I have wondered the same thing. I have no idea but I woulod love to know as well.As for the rich part I certainly don't fall into that catergory, my wife says I am just too stupid to get the message. She is probably right. Some people just never learn.

Billy I think it highlights the poor performance of our team over a long time.It astounds me that after nearly half a century of mainly poor years and the last seven when we cannot beat time with a stick that we can still get 30,000+ members. The MFC most be close to the most resilient group on Earth

IMO we have a good chance to be 2 wins from the first three games. That would give us the best start that I can remember. It would do wonders for membership numbers. If we could make that start I would say we have a great Draw for 2014 and some of the other games later on have a better chance of drawing reasonable numbers.

Yep and there are another half dozen that are lucky they have contracts still running. The last two years we have been the worst established team by a country mile. Guess what we had lots of VFL standard players on the list. We have to change players or maintain the results of the last two years. AFL football is a brutal world. It is play the standard or get out of the road.

There is not enough booze on this earth to take the memories away TBFWinning a few games in 2014 will ease the pain.
