Interesting that the two clubs chasing Roos have had administrations that over the last few years could not beat time with a stick. Maybe the main reason Roos is not interested in coaching at present is the because the clubs chasing him are hopeless. At least with the Lions they have a reasonable list.

Me too RB. It appears from comments in the HUN today that the MFC have offered him a role next year and that Craig intends to play him the last two games. The Flash must go close to being the best player ever recruited via a rookie draft, certainly in the first five. On a seperate issue it never ceases to amaze me that the MFC seem to get more good players from later draft picks and Rookies than we do from early picks.

Fifity-5 two of those three two are injury prone crocks who seldom contribute much on the field. So far only one likely success who has yet to play a game. I hope you are correct but the early signs on two of them are less than wonderful.

No Interest what so ever. There are two teams in SA,WA, NSW and QLD. There are interstate games every week. Relic from the past that ran out of steam two decades ago.

My memory goes back to 1959 jazza and I agree. In the second half of the 60's and 70's when we struggled to beat time with a stick we had the likes of Greg Wells, Stan Alves, Gary Hardiman and of course Robbie Flower. Trying to compare one era to another is impossible but where are these players in our current list. No one even close

Has he played his last Game? I would think so, perhaps he makes way for Taggert this week. But this is the MFC we will probably replace him with Magner

I agree with you Redleg I have been saying for two years that the players are simply not good enough.Where we disagree is the time that will be need to repair the list, it has taken a lot of effort over six years to get our list to the current level. It is going to take 3 - 5 years to be respected and have a team that wins more games than it loses. IMO we are in for another two seasons of hell at the bottom of the ladder before we see noticeable improvement. Not sure I have the stamina to go the distance.

The point is you telling him we will only trade you for a high pick or very good player. Beyond that you go into the Pre season draft and guess who has no.1 pick. What do you want to do C&B Trade him for a has been or Round 2 pick? It is well and truely time the MFC got tough on everything we do. He is towards the front of the queue.
