The interesting thing is Pendlebury got hit outside a club a few years back and Eddie fell right out of his tree. The pies were even part of an AFL program about this sort of thing and how bad it was. Wow The H word comes immediately to mind.

I suggest you take an interest in one or two other clubs. They are all the same. I have mates who support the Pies, Dogs, Hawks and Carlton. All have the same complaint. It always mystify's me this game they all play. I struggle to see where telling pork pies on fitness etc gains an advantage.

Me I hope the others are playing well enough to let them learn the Game at lower level.

Back in 1974 I went with a friend to an Oak Park FC gambling night Bbo. Now we have to remember this was before Casinos and Pokies in Vic. He close the Crown and Anchor. Wiped them out. Shortly after this feat we decided that discretion might be the better part of valour and left. Never forget it.
