  1. It is going to really grieve me to say this but you are correct.
  2. There are only short guys added to the list for his weekend I reckon he will be CHF this week if Fitzy does not come up. Who else is there?
  3. He was doing that in February When I see him run out to start a game I will be impressed
  4. I heard him on sen this last monday suggesting that the AFL treatment of DB may have caused his cancer. I no longer listen to him.
  5. I reckon add Jones and leave it at that until other players prove their worth over the next few months
  6. And quite often they don't rpfc I have given Pedersen plenty of barbs but at least he makes it onto the field each week. The six players have another 22 weeks to prove they are more than injury prone as nothing can be done before then any way. August 31st 2014 is the date at which they have to have have shown they can consistently get on the park in my book.
  7. I still harbour a small hope he might be useful in 2015
  8. 50+!You are confident 100+ from where I sit, the Eagles will kick the highest score this weekend and the largest winning margin.
  9. If we sat on the bench and shouted abuse we would achieve more thanDawes, Clark, Gawn, and Jamar. Honestly have you ever seen such a bunch of broken down footballers ( I use that term loosely ) .
  10. I reckon we should close this thread it has all been said multiple times. The guy is a physical and mental wreck. Open it again in 2015 if there is something new to discuss.
  11. There are six players on the 2014 list that are IMO are lead in our saddle bags. The reason is that for a number of seasons now they have given us very few games and are constantly injured. The prospects for them given much contribution this year and beyond are minimal. Jamar, since 2010 he has spent more time injured than playing. His contribution has been one good season in 2010. Gawn, two knee reco's he is into his fifth season and has 17 games to his credit. Now has hamstring tightness and will probably be out another x weeks. If you cannot get on the park you are useless. Dawes, the master of soft tissue injuries twelve games so far and god knows when he will front in 2014. Clark do I need to list the saga of problems? No Strauss into his sixth year for 24 games, broken legs and seemingly a major injury in four of his six years, ordinary player who is barely AFL standard. Tapscott into his fifth season for 45 games, came to us with a hip injury and has I don't believe had one injury free pre season. Plays the tough guy but does not seem to have the body to go along with it. Injured constantly and again is barely AFL standard. These players are chronic injury problems IMO will not get any better. As soon as possible these players should be replaced. I know it is easier said than done. As soon as contracts expire move them on. If we can negotiate early termination lets do it. If you cannot get on the park then all the talent in the world is of no use. We need players that can be part of playing side, the above are liabilities.
  12. dd I am happy to hear about Freddy and anyone else Sure beats the good news injury stories on half the list, constant bickering on most threads, Will Clark be cast into the street, will we win 1 game of nil this year, should we have picked wines etc etc etc. Happy to read about East Perth and Subi.
  13. It has caught the Dawes Virus it is out with a broken Cam belt Should be right in 2 to 3 weeks
  14. Surely you jest Can anyone remember when we won a game in anything?
  15. A two part question PSD My has no one done it? And if they have why have they not been successful if it is easy?
  16. I think your faith might a little misplaced nutbean.
  17. Only fanatics are currently members stuie Anyone with half a brain has better things to do on winter weekends.
  18. While I seriously doubt he is AFL standard That might be taking it a little too far.
  19. He has done no serious training since Christmas, he would not make it past quarter time
