Interesting JTR I emailed the club a month ago asked the date of the AGM. They replied with the date and said it will be up soon on the web site. Just checked and I cannot see it. Obviously their idea of "soon" and mine are different.

On a purely selfish basis that makes it way hard to get finals tickets etc. However good result for the club finances etc.

Interesting that back in October I was going to upgrade my membership to Redleg or Tridents but they were full. So no choice but to stay with a standard membership. I might add that when I mentioned this to Mrs OD she said just as well we are away for six weeks next footy season. After checking I will miss three home games so I guess the MFC saved me. However it does raise the issue that only GA memberships are available from October forward. Will GA prices start rising for the 2020 season?

Have you considered he might have a "death wish". Anyone who continually rides a bike around Richmond is certainly not the full dollar.

I thought it was his ego.
  8. Me too binman it is not as though we supporters have any say anyway. Hard to believe I know but no one has rung me asking for my opinion! astounding really.
  9. Think it might take more than one Ernest.
  10. Not since I was ten and realised the folly of it all Ernest.
  11. Binman I said if you need the same facilities as Essendon and Hawthorn then the idea for Yarra park is not going to fill the future 21st century needs. Important word there is "if". I have little idea what is needed, the MFC have " experts" to decide that. My feelings are too fold. Yarra park will be too hard due to political / Greenie problems. Second I don't care where it is really. As long as the players get good facilities and are happy. Yarra park, Casey, Goschs paddock or somewhere in between. What the average supporter needs is running a bad last IMO.
  12. I guess we will.
  13. If that is correct why are we even considering Yarra Park. It would appear the MFC have a totally different idea of what is required for an AFL team than Essendon and Hawthorn.
  14. Not sure how many times I have to say this but for those who have missed the five times. I said late last year he made big improvements when got his chance late in the season. I hope that continues in 2019. Happy for him to be a champion. Happy Bob?

Can you get a rangie on a train Ernest?
  16. All that has merit dj. It just shows how big the problem is for us to find a home that suits. ps. I worked in Dandy south for 15 years and lived in the north west. So I know the journey. Fairly confident the molly coddlied players would not like it one bit.

I think there is a much better chance of that than Yarra park WJ.
  18. I only have ADSL as well DJ ( nbn is available Wife is watching Netflix as I type this on my iPad. Good enough for me. Of course I will have no choice but to join nbn some time in the next year.
  19. Takeover Richmond!
  20. You have my vote DJ. The large problem as I understand it is that very few of the playing and admin group want to go there. In fact I have heard a number of the admin would leave rather than go there and players don't want to live anywhere near there. So that puts a big negative on Casey. Not sure it would fly with "establishment" members either. Seems to me the options are Yarra park ( cannot see it happening ) Docklands ( probably not this decade ) The outer surburbs. Docklands is probably the most likely so what is the ten year stop gap? More of what we have now?
  21. Not sure they make a Dip strong enough for that task RG.
  22. Oh God another Magpie that they did not want. They always end in tears at the Dees.

See our next pick James Jordan had a big first quarter in final but faded from there. Will fit right in with us.
  24. We will have won two flags by then!
