Unable to watch the game and cant find a game day thread. Was wondering if anyone could fill me in? 0.5 - any gimmes? who's playing well etc etc. cheers

Due to injuries i don't think we'll ever see him at his best anyway. Good luck to him. He's gonna need it trying chase Scully/Trengove all day against us B)

As good a player as Stevie J is, I'm sure he was looking over his shoulder the rest of the game after that tackle. It was crude, cheap and could have left him with a Cam Bruce like injury. But my god I would love it if a few of the Melbourne boys would dish it out the way Hawthorn do. Realistically we are not going to win the flag or play finals this year. So at the very least would love to see em rough up a few of the sides that are a chance.

I only ever wanted for his leadership experience/qualities. Somebody for the younger players to look up to and feed off. Then remembered we've already got James McDonald. Luke Ball yesterday really did look and play like the poor mans Junior.

Today we: Lead the Inside 50 count: 53 - 50, won the 1st quarter 29 -12, had a slightly higher disposal efficiency: 70.81% to 70%, won the center clearances 35 -30, matched em in the contested possies 119 120, and where possibly the better team against a Collingwood outfit that despite playing well below their best today, are still a potential top 4 side. What sucked so much about last weeks loss, was that there was no signs of improvement. Today showed the complete opposite. Very quick turnaround, but I now have a lot more faith in DB. Melbourne got smashed in all the areas mentioned above last year...

I haven't felt both this proud and gutted after a game in a long, LONG time
