Thankyou...just subscribed.
So did I.
Good stuff.
-
Ed Curnow Carlton??
24 disposals 5 marks 1 goal 7 tackles...
Too old.
-
Would be favourite.
Heppell, Duncan and McKernan the other possibles.
-
Eth, love your work, doing a great job. Are there captains in this thing? If so, Dane Swan is my guy.
Thanks mate. I've got Sam Mitchell as your captain solely for the fact he's the most experienced in terms of leadership in your 18.
I'm not going to change it unless your opponents think it's OK for me to change it - you didn't list a captain originally, I'm aware of that

3 lousy points dang it!
Fev was not a great pick in hindsight ...
It's alright, you get to play Nutz three times this season

"Watts - made a contest" "Watts - Just did enough" ???
Jack was by far worst on ground, to the point that myself and all the supporters around me sighed whenever the ball went within a 10m radius of him.
It wasn't his best game, but by no means was it his worst.
Rivers was definitely the worst on ground for us.

I agree, Bullet's a good nickname.
-
It was 33,951.
-
He deserves a Rising Star nod, but Dyson Heppell had a good game, as did Shaun McKernan and Mitch Duncan. Ed Curnow's also a couple of months too old.
He should get it solely for the Rhyce Shaw bump.
-
Okay, just re-doing some stuff that I missed since the last save, and I've got all the scores excluding the game currently in progress.
I can tell you guys two things - it's low scoring (1100 seems to be an average score) and my team's having an absolute shocker. I'm missing Harbrow, Drummond, Pears, Hodge, Gilbee and Byrnes.
-
Agree with Raz. Maybe someone like Bennell coming on who can then just run out the game. I thought Seaby wasnt bad - there were times he was beating a dominant Jamar due to Jamr just being tired.
Disagree, Bennell showed today that he has the ability to run out games and just how valuable he can be in those close situations.
He and Petterd are too good to sit out 75% of the match. Make Maric the sub, because then at least he has the ability to run through the midfield if a midfielder goes down, and a defender goes down we can always have Davey/Bail/Green pushing back. And of course, he's a natural forward if one of them is subbed off.
-
I`m no coach but can someone explain why all our forwards push up the ground? At a stoppage when we break our forwards are caught up the ground and can`t get back quick enough... At least leave Jurrah one out in the forward line to give us something to kick the ball too.. He`ll beat anyone one-on-one.
I'd say it's to give marking options in the midfield when the ball's deep in our backline, then beat the opposition back to our forward 50 when we get the ball.
If they didn't push up, I'd say 9 times out of 10 an opposition player would mark the ball on the rebound.
But yeah, Jurrah and Petterd are two players who make one-on-ones look easy. They should hover around the forward 50 line when the ball's in their 50.
-
If Frawley were fit, then I'd say Macdonald would be the omission.
Otherwise, no change.

6 - Moloney
5 - Trengove
4 - MacDonald
3 - Tapscott
2 - Jamar
1 - Grimes
Moloney outstanding. Trengove and MacDonald played well even in the first half when we struggled.
Grimes' kicking was atrocious but he did a lot right.
6 - Luke Tapscott
5 - Jamie Bennell
4 - Jack Trengove
3 - Brent Moloney
2 - Jack Grimes
1 - Colin Sylvia
Tapscott is a gun. Early trade in Supercoach if you haven't got him already.
EDIT: Special mentions to Petterd, Jamar, Garland and Martin. Could've easily had my votes today.
-
Petterd to kick five.
-
The thread will probably be started tomorrow morning, at some point.
And we seem to play very well in the wet.
-
Simon Buckley kicks two goals for Collingwood and we all want him back?
-
So whats the go with this Eth?
All I know is that my players from the first 2 games have dominated with their supercoach scores!
Taylor - 130
Enright - 120
N.Riewoldt - 83
J. Riewoldt - 122
R. Warnock - 117
Nice work.
I'll release the scores at the end of the round.

4 weeks for a patella injury is nothing. Try 15 months!!!! Ugh.
Poor Tom, I feel for him. Knees are motherf'ing bastards!
Yeah, my knees are shithouse as well - the reactions I get when I talk about (three) dislocated patellas are pretty funny.
Hopefully Scully will be back on the 'G before the bye.
-
Well one of you must be happy. Considering Mzungu is out injured for 8-10 weeks !
I don't need Brown, and Mzungu will be a gun. I'm confident Derickx will play, so that's my ruck stocks covered.
-
Frawley
Jamar
Green
Sylvia
Garland
McKenzie
Jurrah
Grimes
Davey
Scully
Then Petterd, Rivers, Jones, Trengove and Watts.
-
Brown for Mzungu. Happy with that.
-
Missing Nathan Jones...?
Otherwise keep up the good work Joeboy.
