Sweet. Thursday and Sunday twilight were the only times I could go. And we should beat the Bombers too.
Looking good.

That was the only game I saw that year (as I live in NZ)
That was the only game (at the G) I didn't go to that year...massive WTF when the AFL home page loaded.
-
Sylvia, Green, Grimes for mine.

Richmond's 'fund' won't work (well, not as well as ours) because it's just a message saying 'hey, we're in debt, wouldn't mind a few dollars', where as ours had much more meaning. Better name, too.

Nothing wrong with Strauss's game, it always amazes me that people judge young players and form opinions that make them look for any negative they can find instead of focusing on the good signs they show.
You and DH summed it up perfectly - just a little hesitant, but otherwise you can't be negative about him. It's only his third game after all.
Anyway, this just about sums up my mood tonight (note: you'd probably need to know the song Barbra Streisand, and by that, I mean the song 'Barbra Streisand', not a song by Barbra Streisand

Crap, I'm addicted to something else now.

Don't compare Watts to someone, compare someone to Watts, if you know what I mean

10, because we broke the streak.

I was supposed to be, but then I realised it's played at the Gabba...Mum prefers staying in Broadbeach.
Still asking her, because I can't exactly go up by myself

It's stating the six players who will score high (Sandilands, Mumford, Jolly) or could give you value (Fraser, Petrie, Smith). Jamar completely deserve his AA, but scoring Supercoach points isn't a necessity to be picked as an AA.
And personally, I've got Sandilands and Jolly.

As posted on Bigfooty, if I were Dean Bailey/Cameron Schwab/Brad Green or someone ranked highly at the club, I'd tell Tom to look Jimmy Stynes in the eye and tell him he no longer wants to be a part of the club because another's giving him a bit more money.
And [censored] this thread's big.

Good to see Blease, Howe, Strauss and Cook...but no Tapscott?
-
How Do we get the 10k or so members to sign up now that haven't renewed so there's money in the coffers?
Well, I asked my mum for about the billionth time, and that worked.

Here is a post from Bigfooty I just made:
-snip- (tl;dr)
Scott Pendlebury's signed a 5-year deal for $7 million, yeah?

They should never have dug up punt road..... look what it unearthed

With a path?? B)
Well, it's gotta look nice. And not too expensive.

The HUN often have no idea what they're talking about, but still:
We'll get there. I reckon.

My last comment is for Strauss. He was the highlight of the game for me. He was terrific, especially in the second half. He's a very strong unit now and his kicking was a delight - short or long. I'd almost
written him off due to a lack of intensity, but he was great today. He linked up well with good handball, ran off opponents, made space and didn't miss a target. He even got a good hardball and dished off to Scully in the backline. Contested ball hasn't been a forte of his. There's a spot on a half bank flank if he wants to claim it. He'd make us a significantly better team if he can fulfill his talent. It's only one game, but if he played like that every week he'd be a lock in the best 18.
No doubt other reports will be at odds with mine as supporters often have a very different take on things.
In line for a Round 1 debut?
I might just slot him into my Supercoach team.

Interesting to hear Col say the F word. We haven't heard statements like that for a while.
I would expect that the graph of expectation will rise sharply amongst all arms of the club, players. coaches, board and supporters. It will be interesting to see how individuals perform under the pressure of this expectation and some of the inevitable disappointments.
Where was that?
Also thought I might note that I saw him at Melbourne Airport last Friday - he'd just gone through those metal detectors and was walking towards the gates. Would've thought that would interrupt his training...

More info: Dees take no risks with Frawley
Even more: Frawley eyes early return

The issue I have with this rumour is the ones that persisted last year with GC... brown, harbrow, ablett all ended up true...
Also Petterd, Hampson, Cloke, Mundy...

I have a mate who works for the Kangaroos who told me that GWS have pretty much signed 3 players so far. One of them is Scully on those terms above. One of the other players is Jimmy Bartel.
I lol'd.

Can anyone with Twitter tell him not to think about scratching it?

Would prefer Round 4 if I were to take an interstate trip this year. Get more use out of my VIP pass then.
