Mitch Duncan's got it this week.
Gys is a bit stiff, but remember that we do play Gold Coast this week.
-
Apologies , it's late. I think I misplaced your word "half" with "quarter"..
Know what you mean.
-
And third and fourth....
What I meant was his first half yesterday was very similar to how he played last week.
-
I'd like to see Rick Petterd back.
Yeah, that's the only change I'd like to see. Although he didn't play that great for Casey, he had no real reason to be dropped.
Watts for Petterd, so Watts can...quote Brisbane supporter in front of me today, 'Pull your finger out.'

Traumatic off-season almost finished my career
Interesting article. Told his former coach Brenton Toy that he wasn't going back to Melbourne and it took some of his teammates to convince him to come back.
He's happy to be back playing footy, though. Good to hear.
-
He's been a beauty, with mcKenzie down,,, but what when McKenzie is ready. He'll play a couple @ Casey, then, will come in. So, who goes. Bail or Jones? Or another?
We'll wait and see. It definitely won't be Bail, though.

Back to Earth with a thud this week after a shock loss to Dee-voted. Midfield fired blanks!
The Rovers will be bolstered next round with the return of Rioli and Rawlings in a clash with top-of-the-ladder Robbo24.
With Supercoach and Dreamteam on hiatus, expecting some serious horse trading in UF this week.
Yep. Focus will be on UF this week.
Can't lose close games like that. Should be 2-0-1...

Good analysis.
Don't remember Trengove being hesitant. Maybe when disposing of the ball, but I thought he was very good today.
-
I went with #15 last year. Prior to that I don't think I really saw anyone else with that number
-

The first Demonland post in a while that's made me laugh. Perfect description of all the crap that goes on around here, thanks

As good as his second half was. His first quarter was appalling.
Yeah, I think everybody forgot about that. Played like last week in the first half, played the best I've seen him play in the second.
-
didnt he get a nomination last year...so can he still get nominated again
Yeah, he can. Nathan Jones was nominated twice.
-
His two contenders are Savage and Duncan.
Gysberts - 25 disposals (11 contested), 4 marks, 5 tackles, 1 goal, 129 SC points
Savage - 20 disposals, 4 tackles, 2 goals, 3 frees for, 121 SC points
Duncan - 24 disposals, 9 marks, 3 tackles, 2 goals, 90 SC points
-
Signing Scully would be a positive.
Everything else is going along fine.
So, no positives?
Gotta say, Stefan Martin's in awesome form. Gys was great too.
-
So who should come in, who should go out?
Personally I would've thought Watts and Morton would be the omissions, but they need more game time. Macdonald and Newton would probably be the main contenders for a recall.
What do you guys think?

We're up to 33,753.

According to Cam Schwab on whiteboard wednesday MFC are due to be contenders in 2013, how about a new coach in 2012 that has premiership experience (Malthouse), that way in the years of MFCbeing "contenders" they has an experienced coach behind them, to coach them through when it all goes wrong in the third quarter...
How about we stick with Bailey?
At least give him a chance...
-
6 - Brent Moloney
5 - Jared Rivers
4 - Liam Jurrah
3 - Jordan Gysberts
2 - Mark Jamar
1 - Stefan Martin
-
I hope for nothing else but a huge win over Brisbane, but I reckon a loss will after a p#$% weak effort last week will be the deciding factor in Bailey not being resigned after this year. He will see out the rest of the season though.
I would say 'wait, we might lose?', but then I remembered I was on Demonland...
-
Talk about someone blowing his OWN trumpet
I'm just in shock that he managed to kick five goals...he was only in my team because Ultimate Footy had Jeff Garlett as not playing
-
Congrats to Eth38 for picking Jarryd Blair.
-
Understand Maric and Jetta. Petterd verrrrrrry stiff.
-
I wonder which team will hit and concuss an opposition player or two in a match to give them a massive (and unfair) advantage. Without a send-off rule, this could be a real strategy in make or break games (and wear the tribunal outcome for the win!). I think the concussion and sub rules together make this a more tempting possibility than any time before.
Although you'd probably be suspended for eight weeks
