  1. Yes, I did that on my PC as you can see in my post above... unfortunately it just shows the link. Thanks anyway.
  2. https://twitter.com/melbournefc/status/895825154583875584 MFC has also tweeted that Goodwin stated that Gus will definitely play.
  3. I would think Brayshaw is an outside chance and Maynard should retain his place. Weeds may come in for Watts? (or perhaps he comes in at the expense of Pedersen so Watts can take some rucking duties).
  4. Yep, to quote the article linked to by Wrecker... "A 2003 CSIRO report, part-funded by the ski industry, found that the resorts could lose a quarter of their snow in 15 years, and half by 2050. The worst case was a 96 per cent loss of snow by mid-century." (perhaps Wrecker considers 2020 to be mid-century?).
  5. To quote jackaub from December last year in the Your Expectations for 2017 thread: "Sports bet have us at $23, tenth place behind Essendon. Go Figure!" From my point of view, I believe that if we had not had the important player outs we have had this year, this thread would not have seen the light of day.
  6. Well on the bright side, if we were winning easily every week, playing finals and winning flags, all you'd have to look forward to would be our inevitable fall from grace.
  7. Just looked out the hotel window, sky is mostly blue, some wind, but not gusty, and according to the weather app on my phone, any chance of rain will be 0% by 1:30pm at which time the temperature will be 11c (feels like 1c). This has been a public service announcement.
  8. Well, we made it to our Kingston accommodation and decided to wander down to the shops to stock up on some food. Weather is a little windy, very light rain but made worse by the fact it's [censored] cold. Went to IGA and found the shelves are almost as empty as the footpaths... it was only 4pm and the place is like a ghost town!
  9. If Patton doesn't get up to play on Saturday, they are without their top 3 goal scorers in Cameron, Patton and Greene. Lobb, their next best, has scored half as many goals as Greene. It's a very hard decision for GWS... do they risk Patton knowing that if he does a hammy it will directly impact their finals campaign, or do they risk losing the game and potentially a top 4 spot?
  10. "It was a horrible loss, as horrible as I can remember." Not hard to see why your words were construed the way they were. Given the playing conditions, the fact the Roos had a pretty much full strength team on board, their familiarity with the ground and the fact that they were coming off a strong performance the week before, the loss was probably not as surprising as many seem to think.
  11. I get the feeling that if yesterday's loss was a sign of pressure getting to the players based on the possibility of playing finals, then I expect it will be a very quick exit if we actually do play finals.
  12. Garlett stuck one really good tackle... can't recall which quarter or who it was on, but the thing that made it stand out was the fact that he used both arms to wrap the player up, while most others were throwing out one arm hoping to snare a player.
  13. Any income from pokies is a "gross" figure (in the worst possible sense of the word).
  14. Likewise DOF... we're in the Hill Stand 2.
  15. Damn... I just upgraded from my VIC16 because I was told it WOULD work on the C64
  16. I lived in Canberra for a total of about 3 years in the 70's and more recently (in the last decade) would stay there frequently for work. Over that time, it has certainly improved as a place to visit and there are some good eateries and bars around Kingston and Manuka. My son and I are staying in Kingston so it's a short walk to the ground.
  17. One possible "bug"... the "Mark Forum as Read" button/link at the bottom of the Demonland Forums page, doesn't appear to do anything (it appears there is no longer a "Mark Site as Read" option).
  18. I would think it might relate more to his involvement with the RAP program.
  19. I would have signed their admission papers for the rubber room.
  20. Just the other day I was considering suggesting the site needed more "like" button options a la farcebook (angry, laugh, thumbs up etc)... nice to see.
