  1. Seeing that Pedersen apparently got dropped in response to his dropping his head, I'm actually a little surprised that Frawley kept his spot after his appalling effort at chasing (read, walking/slow trot).
  2. I spoke to Jetta outside the MCG last Sunday and mentioned that I was disappointed he was not in the side. He seemed a bit flat and replied that he was very disappointed himself...I can't imagine missing out again after seeing last week's effort is going to make his disposition any better.
  3. Yes... but as I said in another thread, my son getting to meet and have his photo taken with a whole bunch of his heroes, made it a lot easier to take. The club really did look after him well and the players were fantastic.
  4. I started following after the 1956 GF (I was 4 at the time) like most kids I wanted to support a winner, but unlike most kids (a fickle bunch) I have been a loyal supporter ever since... neither parent was an AFL follower - my dad was from Sydney and a St George supporter (ended up sort of following Essendon) and my mum ended up following St Kilda purely because I had won some player's autograph during a clinic at my school and gave it to her as I didn't want it tainting my collection of Dees items.
  5. My son and I went in through Gate 3 last Sunday.= I imagine that this is normally a great spot... but really, nowhere was a great spot to sit last Sunday.
  6. Not shooting you down, but I have to say...spoken like a true Demons supporter! :-)
  7. I thought he said "partially decapitated"...which in some ways is even stranger
  8. Couldn't agree more...but I'd have his dad in that list as well.
  9. I picked it too, but I certainly never thought it would be the upset of the round...I would have thought the Doggies over the Lions took that title (shame I can't say I picked that as well).
  10. Yes, and saw him running sprints with Hogan toward the end of the session.
  11. As i understand it, Jurrah was never recruited by Collingwood, so why would they have made a big deal of him? But one thing certainly does become evident in your final sentence...just another CS hater.
  12. Obviously Neeld sees something... and maybe we'll all be in a better position to answer that question for ourselves after Sunday? In the meantime, how about we give him the benefit of the doubt.
  13. Great game - a draw would be the perfect result (deflating for both sides).
  14. No problem... I was trying to make it a "surprise" :-)
  15. You want him locked up, yet you are saying our legal system is flawed because he is found not guilty?? Perhaps you long for the days when a good old lynch mob could solve all of the world's problems? Only one joke here, and it 'aint me, 'aint LJ and 'aint the legal system. You work it out.
  16. Already a thread here: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/topic/32948-round-14-vs-bulldogs-offers-a-great-new-initiative/
  17. He probably got up thinking he was still at the Big Day Out.
  18. First case, assault with a weapon - Jurrah NOT GUILTY. Aggravated assault - charge to be DROPPED Drink driving - yet to be decided but hard to argue against and he will be treated in the same way as anyone else. Latest "assault" - police still investigating, NO CHARGES laid as yet. There is only one joke in this thread at the moment and that is YOU! Just what is it you really have against Jurrah? What is your agenda? Currently, the drink driving charge is the only blot on his record at the moment and he is no different to the thousands upon thousands of others charged with the same offence.
