The same applies in reverse after a win. Two things: 1. The Darcy injury will hurt for a few weeks but Freo should play finals this year. Whether or not that makes them a ‘good team’ depends on your definition but I don’t see them regressing back to early season form. The narrative that we lost to a bog ordinary side simply isn’t true. 2. We have the talent on the park to be a contender THIS year. Obviously talent alone doesn’t get you there but it’s a major factor. The season is not shot. Far from it.
