My first trip to the Gabba and the boys made it a good one. Watching Lions fans leaving at half time was something I did not expect at the start of the night. Highly rated The Kozzie Show. What a bloody star that kid is. Bring on September baby!!!

Good to see a 2022 reboot. I wonder if I forfeit the right to complain when a thread of me imitating posters gets imitated. My lawyer has a great philosophical brain. I’ll ask him.

He went further than that. He actually floated the possibility of us missing the 8 altogether. He then dropped the idea when we won the following week. To his credit he jumped on pretty early last year as I recall and never really jumped off. This year however he’s all over the shop. Just this week he suggested Port could run the table in the last 4 weeks and play finals. Seemingly entirely based off a commendable performance against Geelong.

Fantastic achievement. Onya Jess 👍

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD

Oh that wasn’t a typo my friend. -
That one he slotted from the boundary was a thing of beauty. Could not have kicked it any better.

Time for some pig love. This bloke is quietly compiling a very impressive season. His coolness under pressure is really something to behold and is infectious. Deserves to go round again next year if he is that way inclined. Our back six is sex and Hibbo is an important part of that. -
Spargs is that player who earns you sideways looks when you enthusiastically defend his value to the side and wax lyrical about his skillful ball use. Opposition supporters seem to genuinely think he’s no good. His role, onfield demeanour and physical size may have a part to play in that. I feel like many would get a real shock if they paid closer attention to him.

Nothing takes the gloss off a win quite like a 10 minute Joel Selwood montage. Thanks Fox.

God that’s a frustrating rule. He went for the damn ball.

Beat me to it. The AFL average is 10. Swans had 22 against Adelaide. We had goose egg. In a weird way that gives me cause for hope cause the scope for improvement is so huge. We put ourselves in a position to win with a pretty non-existent forward half defense. The only way is up.

Odd feeling reading this thread. I’m a long way from hitting the panic button that others seem to be smashing. I agree the lack of forward pressure and getting well beaten at stoppages are concerns, but up until halftime that was looking a lot like the ‘good Melbourne’ I’m familiar with. Some of the ball movement was as good as you’ll ever see. Not blaming May for the loss but take away that brain explosion and this could easily be a post-match win we are discussing. If we trust the coaches and conditioning staff to have the players cherry ripe leading into finals, we will finish top four.

Oh get stuffed. Have to reward tackles like that.

Harmes is playing a stinker.
