If I only blame the coach as you say, then why do you find it 'strange' that I don't blame the players - you appear confused Bob. Ignoring that, I'm glad you have just told me all about myself - considering you don't know me, that's some achievement - oh, and of course, you are wrong!

Trengove is a good player - it was poor coaching to burden such a young player with the (joint) captaincy.

Brisbane at least looked like they had a system to follow - they had some idea of where their team mates would or should be - MFC didn't. Wake up Dr - it's the coaching, not the players.

Both players are good value - try looking at the real problem - the coach!

This thread is absolute garbage - there are 17 clubs who will be chasing Frawley when he is available - MFC better get their act together and re-sign him fast!

I agree there must be change, but my concern is the opposite - the longer Neeld stays, the worse the damage and the harder it will be to undo - I guess we just have to agree to disagree.

I'll stand by my assessment that the playing list wasn't all that bad when Neeld took over. What it needed was a coach who could bring them together with a game plan they could relate to and believe in - Neeld was/is not that coach.

An 'Eleanor copy' was sighted in an eastern Melbourne suburb just recently, and the plate was, wait for it, 'Elnor' I am told!

My thinking was actually about his whole time with MFC - but it also depends on what is expected of him, as I said earlier - if he does play a blinder we may be in trouble!

Sometimes in life you just have to take the talents of an individual who believes in you (in this case the Club) and use them, rather than just dump the individual because they aren't perfect - the AFL is full of players in history who fit that category and yet their coaches got the best from them.
