  1. No, just age and experience!
  2. PaulRB, I for one, am certainly not 'Neeld bashing' - I react to what I see - maybe you need to look more incisively!
  3. Apologies for the repeat - maybe the NBN will fix such computer problems!
  4. So now MN's performance is Gen Y's fault! Worse still, you unfairly attack Gen Y by implication! Sat, you need to jump a few decades and catch up with the real world!
  5. So now MN's performance is Gen Y's fault - clutching at straws Sat!
  6. Respectfully, you should read my post again, more carefully!
  7. BM shows the people skills required of a coach and he began with a list that did not have the potential of MFC's list - he also, sensibly, did not unreasonably raise expectations, and he has maintained a sensible and simple game plan, even though the Doggies struggled to find a key forward!
  8. I thought we had already agreed on the post 1965 culture. We disagree on whether MN is the person to change that culture - I have seen nothing to convince me that he is.
  9. I totally reject the accusation of 'undermining' MN - I react to what I see and if I think that requires urgent action I will say so - there is no point in waiting until the end of a contract just because that contract exists!
  10. A somewhat mixed batch of part-eloquence and part-interpretation of events, but you certainly have not convinced me that MN is the coach we need - what I have seen does not impress me (and I may be proven wrong), but I believe MFC needs a coach with a more appropriate approach to achieve the success that both you and I want, and more importantly, what the club needs.
  11. That's a good post 'dee-luded'. I can't agree on MN, but otherwise you have it pretty well pinned.
  12. Many posters are trying to be positive and get the club to take some positive action m'lord!
  13. Good post NSC - forgive me for highlighting two points which I see as highly significant.
  14. The point is we have already lost good players because of MN - time to turn the club in the right direction!
  15. I assume you are talking about coach and player (rather than uncle) - I'd keep Frawley the player.
  16. Nothing! Wasn't this the hero guy who claimed an incident on a plane wouldn't have occurred if he was on board! At least he now knows he should stick to acting!
  17. Who knows what the next coach may or may not do, but at least we know what MN can't do!
  18. Nothing! Is that what you mean - you could use words, but then that might be a contribution - oh no!
  19. A muscle bound picture which produces moving pictures - great contribution!
  20. Bimbo's post has some merit dee-luded, but if it was broken down in detail there would be much to debate. My view is that the MFC culture changed drastically in 1965 and has been struggling ever since. Along the way, there have been highs and mostly lows. So, where does that leave us now? IMO we are in a bigger mess than ever - those at the top are largely at fault, but MN is not the coach we need at the coalface at this time. It is a risk, but MFC needs to bite the bullet and make changes now, not just MN, but also at the top, however I'm not expecting any voluntary resignations!
  21. This thread keeps going because those who support MN, those who do not believe in MN's approach, and those who are newbies to the thread, all show that there is a strong spirit of support for MFC - the club is greater than the individual - the posters may not all agree (sometimes quite strongly!), but they do care and they are prepared to spend a lot of time expressing their support, one way or another!
  22. First, we are not talking about a coach taking over a successful team at MFC, in fact, quite the reverse. Second, correct me if I am wrong, but only Scott took over a truly successful club (and I think you are a little confused with who took over what).
  23. On the contrary PaulRB, a new coach with a successful team has everything to lose - players with an attitude of we know best because we are winners and if it all goes wrong, it's the coach's fault. On the other hand, a new coach with a poorly performing list has nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying whatever he thinks will be successful. The glass is half-full!
  24. Please tell me why I can't answer your simple question Bob - it's your comment - back it up!
  25. Bob, I appreciate that you need to look like the modern equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition, but calm down, read and think - Oh, and yes, we would do better with a change of coach!
