  1. Thanks for posting this up. As for the interview, Cameron said all the right things and in that sense it was quite predictable, but it was still interesting to read.
  2. There's been plenty of support on this forum.

    Our List

I can't see Jamar being delisted. My pick would be Ferg. However, we're probably unlikely to delist many more if the kids replacing them will be rated 69+ in the draft.
  4. It's a bit different for those guys. It's hard to have a crack at the game plan when you're a young guy struggling to get into the team.
  5. What makes you think it's absurd? TJ's still young enough to play to somewhere near his potential. In the past, he finished #4 in the Brownlow, so he can poll votes. It's likely another Brisbane player may be tagged, so TJ might find he has more freedom playing as Brisbane midfielder. Maybe he might even find himself an improved player with a new Coach and Club structure - I don't think we got the best out of him. Stranger things have happened.
  6. It's very disappointing we have to play at TD, and 'twilight' Sunday games are pretty poor.
  7. I guess there's an argument to say that you should hang on to everyone until the end of trade week, so you have the opportunity to trade rather than delist guys you're not interested in. However, if players are not delisted until after trade week they are unable to nominate for the national draft (and are only eligible fot the PSD).
  8. If you think this is bad, you should see the board after a loss
  9. This topic has been done to death recently. Anyhow... White doesn't have too much longer left. Neither PJ, Jamar, or Meesen has even cemented a #2 ruck spot, let alone show they're capable of taking over as first ruck. If anything, we don't have enough rucks. I'd certainly be rookie listing a young ruckman.
  10. He's never been able to get 'big enough and strong enough' in the past, and he's 26 or so. Apparently his brother's the same regarding putting on weight. I can't see it happening.
  11. Neitz is no longer a backman. Best to forget that part of his career entirely - it was a long time ago. As others have pointed out, taking Neitz out of our forward line also means that every other forward gets a better defender than they otherwise would, which isn't going to help much.
  12. You could do worse, but I imagine we can do better.
  13. I agree. All players should be judged on their future worth, not a past valuation. A draft # is just an indication of how someone rated you against your peers in a particular year, when you hadn't even started out. Once players are on the list the number they came in the draft is irrelevant.
  14. So you still think Sydney might give us their first round pick? Cool. Hi! ;p
  15. How's that working for you?
  16. So why did you bring up the TJ trade? We've tried to shop him around before. Surely you'd agree that we need to build a team around the Bate & McLean era rather than hold on to guys that might give us decent value for a few years as best?
  17. I agree he'll do well, and I hope he does. That doesn't mean it was the wrong decision - you rightly point out that he would receive more attention at Melbourne - as our Premiership tilt isn't within the next two years. Whether TJ does well for Brisbane is irrelevant.
  18. I enjoyed reading this article - nice work.
  19. Second cousin of Ryan Ferguson, actually.
  20. As you say, he's a kid. Really, how many rucks dominate at his age? I'm okay with this pick.
