So now you're saying Neil Craig has lost the Melbourne players? You would think the head coach at Adelaide for that period of time had the final tick on players coming to the list. To be honest some of these players deserve to be lost (if thats the case and none of us know that for sure). How much more would you like the tail to wag the dog? My point is these guys are not duds and their resume stacks up to any of Sanderson etc.... So whats the problem? Do you want Don and Cam to resign? Why do professional AFL players need supporters and members to wake them? Surely if they need us to do that they simply shouldn't be playing AFL football full stop?

Richmond have been taking it for years..... Carlton almost went out of existance and were a disaster for a long while. Its not time for the followers to wake. I have seen more passion from followers on this board in the last 8 weeks than ever. Its time for the players to wake. Simple as that.

Yes well done on recognising the list Neil Craig and the team around him assembled. As you say it starts at the top and Adelaide when Neil was there certainly did a great job on their list. In addition Neeld was pretty good at Collingwood too. Its easy to blame everyone else with your pitchfork in hand. Reality is that we have made our decisions. What more do you need people to say that will help you understand? I think the club has openly admitted the process. What else do you want 'fessed up' so you can be satisfied and the world can go back to normal? Thanks for the nice feedback on the 'rant'. Actually I think the club acknowledged the process they went through. We did the testing with Bailey did that help? Everyone knows those tests are 5% of any decision making on candidate anyway. Why is it some people cannot fathom our team is pathetic with players who are petulant and cannot even hold a tackle or chase with any vigour. But no bury your head in the sand as usual and blame the coach, president, CEO and anyone else you can find except the players! Right now I'd see we should be happy for Moloney and Jamar to go, trade Sylvia you would think we could land something good for him. See if some club is dumb enough to give us anything for Davey. Move on Bail, Bate, Dunn, potentially trade out Morton and Bennell and possibly Fitzpatrick. Bring in 2-3 mature good players who are retiring and trade up for Boak and or Dangerfield with the above players and picks. get Cloke w free agency. Finish last and take Whitfield and Viney gives us 2 absolute gun midfielders. Plus best available for the rest. We are better off punting on a strong draft and pruning the list hard this year. I bet we can find kids with more oomph and care in the draft than what we already have.

After tonight i think we should follow the GWS model. 1. Recruit retiring great players to bring experience and leadership to the club over the next 1-2 years. Low cost and allows us to replace trading out some senior players IF we can get anything at all for them. 2. Throw everything at Cloke and or Dangerfield and or Boak. 3. Pick the best available players with our remaining picks in the draft. Dont ever fall for drafting for needs ever again. Therefore Pick Lachie Whitfield and a Stringer or other. This club needs a GWS hybrid Swans rebuild on a few levels. Sorry to say but we need to find a way of making our team competitve next year as fast as possible.

Our players are the best ball watchers in the league. The really should be paying as spectators because they simply are.
