Im sick of hearing the statement , WE FAILED ON THE BIG STAGE. meaning friday night football. This to me reflects the attitude of everyone involved at the club. Coaching staff, players , and the board. It shouldnt matter that we are playing on friday night on the tele as compared to any other day/time against any opposition. OUR ATTITUDE to the game should be the same. mentaly prepared and up and about for the contest and ready to do EVERYTHING REQIRED to get the four points for the team.

Makes it pretty hard for players to develop a mean streak when you get rubbed out for 3 weeks for a good tackle! and it looks like it may happen again even after being rewarded with a free kick by the umpire....!!!???

Fair enough old dee i understand the frustration. The new young players coming through how ever have nothing to do with the years past and disapointment that go with it. We are definatly building toward better times and we are gunna have to ride the bumps along the way.

stick with it everyone ... its bloody hard but we need stay patient. the signs are there.

i was in a corporate box that dogs game with guy rigoni hosting it for the company he was working for. we were the only melbourne supporters in there on the day and my goodness it was painful! took a large amount of crown lager to numb the pain!! weve come a long way since...

ever think hes poor form over those weeks was because perhaps he was trying to carry the injury? having said that i think he will def come back through casey. dont worry about bull s..t clauses in contracts.

Thought liam looked a lot sharper and seemed to be hungrier than recent games... could have easily kicked 5. what has happened to his set shot kicking though ? seems to have the yips of sorts. his approach does not look anywhere near as relaxed as it once did with a little skip in his run up. just a confidence thing i suppose...?

thats the thing with stereotypes... not all melbourne supporters live in toorak and head off too the snow every other week!

Spot on mate... its bloody hard cos we all want him to stay but that is the best way for mfc to go about it. and for what its worth im confident he isnt going anywhere.
