Club in crisis - Media pile on - August 2024
dees189227 replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
Is it to late to change footy teams? I thought these days were over of good players leaving, board issues, leaks & fractions at the club & disappointment on the field. Honestly this club keeps providing heartache after heartache -
So apparently trac is due to be at a father's day event on Sunday at the ringwood rsl. You can ask questions. Everyone should just but a ticket & bombard him with questions. Shall be interesting if it still goes ahead.
-
The best & fairest night should be interesting
-
This is the least of our worries. But kozzie again has let us down.
-
Wouldn't see nathan jones, Jim stynes or Robbie flower carry on like this
-
So basically this is Darcy moores fault. If trac didn't have this injury then I doubt he'd be rethinking things. Remember he was in tears a few years ago when he said this is for the Melbourne fans who were to embarrassed to wear the jumper. Well now you're running. Hope he doesn't end up at the filth. Why would he want to play along side the guy that has caused him this trauma
-
Sorry I meant the howie games
-
See I don't see the curse gone until we win a flag on the G
-
So apparently he has gone on the howue games nut the trade wad not raised. It sounds like he has a lot of issues to overcome. Here's an idea. He could just retire. Let his body heal & become an influencer.
-
Once lauren and Jason moved to nova did trac still do a weekly spot? I'm guessing not
-
If you're scrolling through this trac, be a leader & help us out of this mess & get us back to being a winning team. Be a leader or just tell the world what's your issues
-
He can go to Richmond. Reading maxys grand final book trac loved working with Ooze & was really good for him.
-
I think trac has been listening to his mate Ben simmons a bit to much
-
So according to McClure these are the 5 points why trac wants out. Clubs refusal to deal with Oliver situation Clubs management of his injury Clubs poor form Wants to play in front of bigger crowds Wants to establish his offield brand and offield earnings. Who is leaking this out? I can understand being frustrated with Oliver & maybe letting it get to far, injury, ok he should have not been allowed back on in hindsight, he didn't have an issue with crowds when he signed on for 5 years. His offield brand. Well he can establish that himself. Is he going to turn into an influencer
-
Can you imagine the bont or Toby green turning around and saying this stuff. Nope. The crowd thing didn't seem an issue when he signed the 5 year deal last year
-
I'd be ringing carlton asking if we could borrow their lawyer. Or someone else than Adrian Anderson
-
So what's the herald sun story about carlton getting this deal done? Personally rather than complaining, help the club & act like a leader, he could be a great mentor to the younger ones like Taj, kynan, Windsor & koltyn
-
The scheduling is absolutely ridiculous in week 1. Why would you put dogs v hawks on the Friday night when the dogs womens team play their 1st home game at written oval. Apparently the dogs raised this point. Then put sydney v giants on a Saturday afternoon? Put the sydney game in prime time Friday night in the sydney market. The minor premiers deserved better. Plus the dogs v hawks sat arvo at the G would have been great.

Freo are going to really rue that 1 point loss to essendon. Just watched the last 2 minutes if the marvel game. Wow what a finish. If I lost 8th spot in the final 12 seconds, I'd be crying to. But had a feeling port would win.
-
Yep & they'll be annoyed it was carlton that took there spot. Imagine if crippa beats daicos for the brownlow. They'll riot
-
It's actually disgraceful but not a surprise. No wonder trac is livid
-
So the doggies will play finals. It's a shame they'll probably end up playing hawthorn. 2 inform exciting teams & one will be knocked out. Bont unfortunately doesn't look like he'll get any brownlow votes. Dam.
-
Gosh I love them. They put the hook out & the pies fans take the bait & sook up. But the giants aren't wrong
-
R24 has been really uneventful so far. At least today's games mean something more Hope ballarat don't get hit with storms & lightening. That game means a lot.
-
I saw her standing at the race when we were coming off. I wonder if she'll speak to trac
