  1. I thought the number 8 was the magic number last time we did a wins prediction thread.. I still reckon that's about right
  2. It's not quite as bad when you consider that as of round 1 2016 we should see Trengove and Petracca and another kid maybe from about pick6 working their way into the side.. and if Roos smashes another one out of the park , like he has the last 2 trade periods, we should see more of the likes of Vince, Cross, Tyson, Vandenburg, Lumumba, Garlett and Newton into the side
  3. the bloke is about as sharp as a bowling ball , I doubt he's ever been 'taught' anything.. certainly not how to kick a footy at age 26
  4. this thread has gone in circles of repetition for about 200 posts and it's only Tuesday
  5. Yes he's a very good kick, don't know if we have yet seen an attempt at goal, set shot deep on the boundary though. Watts has nailed a handful of them
  6. the kick to JKH from Garland was very good also
  7. saw that too.. but was relieved the ball was actually given to the player I would back out of anyone on the ground exc perhaps Ablett to take set shot from there
  8. in other words you will have a bet each way because you are petrified of saying something that a child like yourself will come out later and say nahnah i told you so.. so you post like a politician
  9. how about giving it a rest for a post or two with snide imbecilic jabs, nobody wants to read it. how old are you anyway
  10. Yes well maybe we come to footy discussion sites to talk about what WE think as we are not able to read the minds of the MC and gameday is several days off Not to mention the MC has been wrong plenty and plenty and plenty of times in the past
  11. so in other words you agree with me in that Dawes is coming in just thought you would sneak a little insult jab at same time as agreeing with me grow up
  12. It's priority 2 is all I'm saying. Yes, it will be rough if he gets dropped after a decent debut but it's priority 2. If it's him or Dawes the decision making process has a duration of about 1.5 seconds
  13. Wow, you've elevated the discussion from Matt Jones to Chris Dawes. Madness. What's next, I don't care if Nathan Jones is fit we must play Brayshaw. Don't worry, there isn't a snowlake's chance in hell that Dawes will not be brought in
  14. I'm saying you can just pigheadedly refuse to drop him without considering the fact he might be the one who has to make way for Dawes, because Dawes is more important and he is only a kid with plenty of time on his side
  15. gotta try to win the game of football more like it
  16. what an absurd attitude. Hey everyone don't worry about our opponent having an unfair advantage just beat them anyway we don't we just play with 17 then, I'm sure the cats would be in favour of that too FMD
  17. uuuuuuuuuum no, because all sides play much more often at the G and therefore it less of an advantage. Hawthorn, Richmond and Collingwood spring to mind. FFS you are the one who pointed out the ground has unique dimensions which favour the cats. Even if we had 100,000 members we would still be splitting the crowd support with our opponent which doesn't happen at Geelong. Use your head.
  18. we need to get a big scalp or two and finish in 8-10 wins for that argument to hold any water though at decision time just the one win so far
  19. harm it, or just change it, possibly for the better? One would think having your best forward in the forwardline is a good thing
  20. Incorrect. My memory lied to me also, but when I checked the replay it was after the Prince goal and we led by 18 when that fumble happened. 8:15 remaining check it yourself
  21. exactly. Just because we won last week all of a sudden some folks reckon our forwardline is model of perfection that must not be tampered with. However it changes, Dawes is an improvement on it.
  22. Malceski played badly so Kent gets credit for it, interesting
  23. I hate this kind of talk. Just because Garland had a great game 2 days ago does not mean that anyone who criticised his 2014 or his NAB cup was in any way wrong... just like anyone who bags Toumpas or Dawes or anyone else now will not be wrong if at some point in the future one of them plays a good game. It doesn't make any sense, this idea that if you critique a players' game you have somehow signed some contract declaring that this person will never be any good to the club ever. wtf. we call it as we see it based on the available evidence is it is no declaration or prophesy for the future.
