  1. yeah instead of discussing Watts' shizen effort let's bag the bloke bagging him, that will distract us maybe next time i'll stay sober, i'm sure he will kick some goals then
  2. Davey - hello? invisible cloak tonight or what? Jamar, Martin - big and bloody useless. If you are 800-foot tall in marking contest with a bloke half your size you should pluck one occasionally instead of flapping around around on the ground like a fish. Martin has lost me completely, he has less use than the old screen door on a submarine Moloney, Jones - showcase for your detractors tonight, pitiful excuse for hard midfielders and leaders Bate - continues to be an absolute waste of space, do something, ANYTHING Strauss - not an AFL footballer, will be gone soon Warnock - just disappear please Trengove - is a gun but what went wrong tonight looked positively rubbish and last but certainly not least, the bloke that nobody mentions at times like these, golden boy Watts. Absolutely blessed with gifts most players would kill for but not blessed with the gift to actually have any impact on the match. We were still in it when Jurrah took a screamer in the centre of the centre of the ground and pinpointed it to him all on his own with plenty of time, perfect opportunity for a game-turning goal like a champion would do, did he kick it? Of course not! Absolute embarrassment tonight well played Jurrah and Maric, to a lesser extent Jetta and Bennell, most of the rest, harden up and get your heads on straight or GTFO
  3. pft it is not like that all, are you high or what? We are talking about the survival of our football club in a tough competitive climate, your schoolyard comparison is utter BS. do you think 7200 members is a lot? Because I don't, and if we had that many more we would have the 3rd biggest Victorian membership base ahead of so-called superpower, Essendon. This is coming off two spoons then 14th then 13th. Our attendances are 8th in the comp. I have stated this so many times but not one of you North-sympathisers with inferiority complexes have acknowledged it. as pointed out above, the playing field is obviously not even. Our commercial prospects are at a disavantage compared to other clubs, which the AFL evens up through use of THE COMPETITIVE BALANCE FUND any idea what that is smart guy? let's imagine North went totally under and folded. Then let's say we didn't grow as a club as we hoping to. You don't agree that the AFL would be doing more to ensure our survival if a traditional club has just gone under. If North and Melbourne were to both fold in quick succession there would be outrage, so yes, their death ensures our survival to a degree. Also, there are only 9 teams sharing the membership pie instead of 10, that one is pretty obvious.
  4. you make me sick all your points are refutable and have been refuted over and over again and i'll be damned if i'm doing it with smeone that is supposed to be on my side go and barrack for someone else if you are so ashamed
  5. do you really think someone has asked for Bails for a 29 man squad and he said 'f--k it, who cares, stick Ricky in there, what does it matter' Bailey does not run things like that two possibilities: -RP is not fit (as he tweeted) and he has been inserted into the lineup simply to mess with Essendon's matchups OR -RP is indeed fit and the tweet is a red herring to mess with Essendon's matchups either way there is a deliberate ploy going on and not a drop of 'who cares' about it
  6. did you really think that made the slightest bit of sense when you wrote it? why waste everybody's time you are probably one of those supporters that loves Collingwood 'for letting us have QB' no idea now go and buy a few North memberships and cry me a river
  7. Yeah but there is just so MUCH potential there, I watched the WB game again lately, kid is a freak. If you had to pick a number based on the probability of him becoming a star of the comp you'd go over 90%. Well I would.
  8. He does that Careful he will suspend you too
  9. good call from an opposition coach's POV he couldn't be sure if the tweet is a ploy or genuine, therefore it cannot affect his strategy. Interesting.
  10. well it seems to me they are looking to win the match as much as they would a regular game, therefore whatever tactics are employed to achieve this should be appropriately respected
  11. He's probably too busy preparing for next week's match!
  12. it's a good point. Was he included to play mind games with the Bombers?
  13. totally agree, a lobster for a praccy match, they are shameless
  14. good post but these two points can't coexist
  15. yeah he's fantastic in general play kicking, just the sets.. might have a lot to do with pressure which is understandable..
  16. Aussie also doesn't appear on either the team sheet or the injury list Reports say the Scull has been training with the rehab group
  17. yeah but we're talking about set shots. He sliced a bad one just last week, i am not making this up believe it or not
  18. Pears isn't there either we are in pretty good shape, only missing 4 players tomorrow and 2 of them will be back for Round 1 if everyone else stays fit, going into R1 missing only FRawley and Morton would be a great result sry forgot about Aussie, he'll be right for R1 also I presume
  19. it's IN: Warnock, Jones, Petterd OUT: T.McDonald, McNamara, Nicholson same size squad
  20. well fact is he has missed a considerable portion of gettable set shots he's had so far, one cost us a match in Freo, so i don't know how you can dispute it
  21. has to be said though on game day he has not been that reliable with the set ones, it is a bit of a weakness, and one that will make a big difference to our results if it isn't sorted. Think Nick Riewoldt.
  22. good on them for responding, I am very surprised
