  1. not to have a go at you specifically, but there is too much 'woe is me' amongst us supporters - we must be the most paranoid, cynical group in the comp. if it were the other way around and we attempted to steal something from the pies we would all be lauding Roos as a genius and saying 'suffer collingwood' etc.
  2. So who are you blaming? Cos it sounds like you want to see Peter Jackson having a tantrum on TV.. I sure as hell don't, that doesn't get us anywhere
  3. well your condescending garbage just shows what a moron you are because there have been many instances eg PAUL ROOS where every cretin that told the rest of us to 'stop dreamin' was proven to be a complete dolt. If you don't like it don't read it, but don't waste any keystrokes telling us what we can and can't discuss. GRRRRRRRRRRR
  4. if he gets back in red and blue I will cringing every time he is in a contest or even takes off and lands, I'll tell you that much
  5. Just FYI he finished 5th in their BnF last year and his supercoach score is their 4th best this year
  6. You are hearing my posts in her voice aren't you, that was the idea lol
  7. I don't give a toss if he is a neo-nazi off the field, I only care about having AFL quality players on the park and he is one of them to add our small collection
  8. I agree, I don't see how it is possible that any 'health professional' could recommend that course of action to a client, seems to be horrible advice. I smell BS.
  9. OK but with the available evidence that looks about a 95% probability for mine
  10. done. But I have it on good authority Freo will be seeking a 14 year contract for riley to get it done.
  11. I'm sure others must be pondering this: Let's say it is accurate to suggest that MC has 'blindsided' us and wants to go elsewhere in what seems as a stab in the back for what we've been through with him. In the space of the last 36 hours, the backlash evident in the 'professional' media and social media has been scathing towards MC. Does this now affect MC's (or more his management) gameplan? Didn't they see this coming? What I'm saying is.. is MC now sitting there thinking 'what have I done' and will the goalposts move now? and if so, does that mean we will just take him in, in spite of the supposed betrayal he has made? Or is all of this just a charade with some deeper machinations we cannot be aware of? This has got to be one of the most fascinating scenarios I can recall, just wish I knew all the facts!
  12. Definitely. Many have said it already, but there is every chance Clark, once back in the game will be a complete fizzer. However, the temptation that he won't be, should be enough of a carrot for at least one of 17 clubs to take a punt and to give us something decent for him. In this way I see we are in a winning situation. Unless of course, he stays, and fizzles for us. Or someone nabs him and he dominates. He's a shiny Lamborghini in our garage, with major doubts on the engine and other critical parts.
  13. can someone enlighten me as to how many days from now this Clark issue will be done and dusted because it's ruined my last 2 days. Although I can't say I'm as glum about the whole thing as I was when it first broke. It could work out well, in fact. Thanks.
  14. Just a thing I heard from a mate on the inside, so take it as you will: Nat Fyfe for Aidan Riley,
  15. disagree with that bad move culturally to purchase a player and give him the crown straight to the LG but the crown has been very hard earned by Jonesy and I would be livid if circumstances like that stripped it from him, absolutely not Roosy's style
  16. That all depends on whether you think that 'finals success' trumps the almighty dollar, and whether or not you believe in santa
  17. It's what clubs do to look after their players. They don't expect to then get knifed by said players.
  18. Considering Clark was basically a zero asset a week ago I would say it's a free Lumumba
  19. I don't see what is so depressing about it. Most here (not me) had the attitude of 'stop dreamin' Mitch will never play again' before this week. Well we haven't got him back, but we will get something, which is more than the nothing we had a week ago. Roos will take that something and turn into quality for the club, so I'm happy.
  20. before this week? That would be the time prior to the dog act, why would he have said it then?
  21. Have to say I have a similarly good feeling, that I didn't have with Bailey or Neeld. As I've mentioned, Roosy came in last year and used the hand that we had to get 3 players that finished in the top 5 of the bluey - I expect him to recruit intelligently again, this time with some serious cards in hand, and who knows we might have 3 more new faces in next year's BnF
