Just saw it. Wow!! Liam Jurrah will be a superstar of the highest order. absolutely no doubt in my mind. Its such a good feeling to know that we have someone this awesome at the club. Sylvia was pretty handy too if you dont mind!

With Junior and Bruce now gone,we have to cover for two players that average 25 possesions each every week. Id probably go with a Morton to take on Bruces role and move Grimes deeper in the midfield to cover for Junior. Hopefully Tapscott,Gysberts and Blease will come on a bit and also add to the midfield mix.

No im not virtuous ,ill admit if im wrong but this post is simply a hypothetical. Theres no right or wrong just an opinion. Im happy to see Chip stay in the backline,just posed a what if, and maybe a practice game experiment. You dont really know me and i dont really know you. It does seem that we are both passionate about the Demons though.

Ignore them i did not, infact some i thought were good arguments and told them so even if they differed. Believe me i am no self richeous fool. I think we might see Frawley given more licence as he develops. In the Irish game he kicked a beautiful goal on the run, backing himself out of defence

Good argument, but if Rivers gets back to his best and Garland continues to improve, who knows? Im in more of an attacking mindset with best players forward of the ball,especially if we win it out of the centre more with the improvement of scully, trenners etc.

Yeah, probably right. It makes good sense to have an Elite player down back in Frawley,one in the midfield in Scully, and one up forward in Jurrah. But id love to see it in a practice game to see how he goes. Garlands a very good defender, with Rivers and Warnock backing him up i dont think the back half will be weakened that much.

I really think this kid is something very special. I reckon he has it all, the build, the attitude, the balance of aggression and smarts. Fast becoming my favorite,and every year he gets better. I bet he will make the all Aussie team year after year from now on. In fact and it may sound crazy, but imagine the guy at full forward or centre half forward? The player weve been looking for may be right in our own backyard. God!, imagine the opposition tryin to match up on him, hes big and very quick. What a killer forward line it could be with Chipper and LJ, WONA,Greeny,Dunny, Ricky and Wattsy. Warnock, Garland and Rivers could hold up the backline,with Newton worth a try down there. Luv to see em try it in a couple of pre season games.

You gotta develop em somewhere, preseason /practise games are a good way at looking at players and trying them in different postions. Im not saying he is a world beater all of a sudden, just give him a preseason down back and judge at the end of it.

He may not be taking that pack mark or kicking that crunch goal for us up forward, but sometimes when a player goes down back he gains confidence and might just put his physical attributes to good use.

Apparently Juice shone with his display in defense yesterday. This may free up a Garland or Warnock to be that marking goal square option for us? Spencer played alright too and kicked a nice 50 metre goal on the run.

Yes i agree with this. My brother is a north supporter and we often go to DEES and Kangas games together, so we have seen alot of both teams. He rates PJ ahead of Hale citing Hale as lifeless and slow, compared to PJ who can at least run and bounce the ball, and is a better Tap Ruckman.

My Brother is a Kangaroos supporter, and reckons Paul Johnson is better than Hale,who he says constantly dissapoints,and hasnt played a decent game in 3 years.

We need a big strong lump of a key position forward and maybe a very quick/speedy on baller. I think we have enough midfielders with Blease,Tapscott and maybe Viney to join the rotations, some very good players are going to miss out already. The other missing ingredient, is that second ruck, and im pretty confident Gawn/Fitzpatrick will fit the bill there.
