Strangely enough I still think that come the drier conditions at the back end of the season and finals we will hit our straps, but we are making it bloody hard for ourselves to clinch that top 4 berth we need with our wasteful disposal and inaccurate goal kicking. My biggest worry right now is Fritsch long term. Id love to get Woewodin into that side for Harmes and maybe give moniz wakefield a go ahead of Chandler . Roo comes back for Fritsch

From the best ruck division in the AFL to a very underperforming one

It doesn’t matter how much ball you win or how many stats you win, if you butcher the ball up forward you’re going nowhere fast. Fritsch will be a huge loss as he is our only natural forward.

I’m even starting to think about dropping Grundy for Van Rooyen Harmes always try’s to do too much and is not as good as a Jordon or even a more skillful player like Laurie who may even kick it to the forwards properly. ANBs effort goes unquestioned but I believe he has cost us dearly with his disposal in his last two games.

Felt so sorry for viney after he busted a gut and gave his absolute all.

Shame we have such a lame forward line, with that midfield and backline. I’d drop Chandler too He is no where near what he was first half of the year

Just wondering if you guys have any ideas as to why we haven’t played Koz in the midfield since he performed so well there in the pre season and round one? I feel he is better suited running onto the ball and into the forward line than having it kicked on top of his head in one on one contests

We waste a helluva lot of ball. If we get better with our skills and be more one touch we would win alot more games. Are we the fumbliest team in the comp or what?

Can someone please tell me why, after Kozzie dominated on the ball in the opening round , and hasn’t been used since?

Because the draw is unfairly biased towards the wealthier bigger drawing clubs. All about money in the coffers, nothing else.

I have no idea who I want to win tonight. Freo to keep the bummers off our tail. or Essendon to keep Freo out of the 8 and give us a higher pick.

Selection leaves a lot to be desired too. Petty clearly needed a run in the twos first, and we are selecting players in ordinary to average form in Jordon and Spargo and leaving out players in very good for such as Thommo and Bowey. I love JVR but he is still learning the caper and no lynch pin just yet. Ben Brown might straighten us up a little.

Scott kept their forward line open so our intercept game had no effect. They pressed hard and ran forward in quick burst through the middle once they got turnovers and kicked easy goals. Outcoached.

The amount of times we kicked the ball on top of Kozzies head when he had a much taller opponent on him was ridiculously stupid

We were the hunted tonight. Out coached and out played. Personnel didn’t matter They looked a yard quicker and we very very panicky with our kicks.
