  1. Spargo was on his own 30m out directly in front at least twice and just ignored completely. Kicked to a contest instead. I don't get it.
  2. Missing the set shot I can handle - it's a skill error albeit one he should NOT be making Trying to kick goals out of your [censored] like you're a bloody small crumbing forward is bush league stuff. Far more selfish than anything Fritsch was accused of. I'm bloody ropeable about those because he should know better and it's not the first time it's happened.
  3. Bring in Van Rooyen - no point playing safe and losing, we have no legitimate tall options up forward
  4. They clearly orchestrated the gang tackle on him in the opening seconds too. Sidebottom went 20m clear of him on the wing at the opening bounce leaving him in space knowing the ball would come out and they pounced.
  5. The Viney holding the ball and Petty push in the back? Both those were there. Johnson's mark earlier was a bump ball though and the other holding the ball they got in from of goal was ridiculous. Pendlebury caught red-handed in our 50 and nothing 😡
  6. 2nd quarter the ball was in our forward line for the first 10 minutes we kicked 2 goals I think. 3rd quarter the ball was in our forward line for the first 8 minutes - no goals, they take it down and score instantly. Our forward line is a shambles, the entries kill us, Gawn trying to kick snaps out of his [censored] instead of handing off when he can't even kick one from dead in front, Brown flopping around like a baby giraffe, small forwards nowhere near the crumb, and no space to work in. Everything is rushed instead of setting ourselves up with the best option.
  7. Their forward line played us to perfection. Kept a player back deep (usually Elliot) so we didn't have May or Lever sitting back there as an anchor unopposed. They have no key forward but all of them are dangerous and they use them all so you have to man up on them, so Lever and Petty found it hard to go 3rd up and intercept. Elliot, Mihocek, De Goey, Johnson (never heard of him!) - they made us accountable.
  8. Pathetic, selfish game from Gawn inside 50. At halftime they had 18 inside 50s for 8 goals 2!! Brown had a mare of a patch in the 3rd quarter. Small forwards were largely ineffectual. Collingwoods system matches up extremely well with ours. This one stings I [censored] HATE losing to that mob! Chances are we play them again in September and I'm not looking forward to it....
  9. I can't believe we let them run over us again!!! [censored] fuming we should've put them away during the 2nd quarter
  10. My god that would be sublime 🙏❤️💙
  11. Most Crows supporters I've seen comment on BigFooty want Riccutio gone and Sloane and Walker to follow.
  12. All of the above 🤣
  13. 1 down, 6 to go
  14. They're definitely NOT The Beautiful People 🤣
  15. Yep exactly so no easy avenues to goal streaming forward of the stoppage/centre clearance.
  16. Still plenty of seats at the top of the Ponsford and Northern Stands it seems?
  17. From Bigfooty - Melbourne is the AFL's drool team at the moment because they won the flag by 70 points. It was a good game for them, but they're not invincible and it wouldn't surprise me if they bowed out in a semi-final. - They were in a massive hole only a few weeks ago. Lost to the Dogs a fortnight ago. A win over Freo last week who aren't in great form either and the goldfish declare them invincible again. Its quite funny really. The underdog status has been our friend all year. Let it continue. - Best place to be. Everything to prove. Can't blame the experts, I wouldn't tip us either. Unless Melbourne chokes we will need our best 4 quarter game. - Nobody rated us at the start of the year, so these 'experts' refuse to tip us. Melbourne are flavour of the week again because they beat up on Freo who forgot to show up. - They've beaten up on 2 flaky interstate teams in recent weeks. When challenged by 2 stronger sides in the Cats and Dogs, they've been found wanting. We would have to put in a stinker tomorrow night for the Dees to walk all over us. I think our low possession, high impact, move the ball forward at all costs will trouble their tall backline. Hitting up forwards running into space will be the order of the night. - After that 12 goal GF win they've lost their edge - when stronger sides challenge them the fight just isn't there. - Quietly confident about playing the Leather elbow patch Dr Cordners. - They've lost the exploiveness. In the 3 finals last year they went up another level. In most games they've lost they've been in winning positions and haven't finished sides off. Actually gone the opposite. The team with the ability to explode and turn on the gears is Collingwood - If the boys needed any motivation to get 11 in a row they were just handed it on a platter by steady Eddie - Chris Scott and now Langdon feeling free to critique the Collingwood game plan less than favourably. Arrogant tools - Bit rich coming from that downhill skier. - Not the smartest thing to say about your opposition the day before the game. I hope we smash the *ers now - Game on. Thanks for the inspiration for the boys to get fired up for 11th win Langers. Duck, Duck, Goose. - This is a definite ploy and it shows how worried the Dees are about our little Pie Boys! It's straight out of Murray Weideman's 1958 kitbag!! They wanna get us all riled up so that we'll attack them willy nilly and play into Lever and May's hands with high undisciplined kicks. - HA HA CLASSIC! i bet professor Gawn will give him a stern talking to, "don't fire up the peasants now Edward." - Obviously these teams above us are stressing out over Collingwood coming for them. - Pressure is all on Melbourne this week. I'd be surprised if they didn't come out firing & bring their best game. Despite the rhetoric they know we are shaping to be a contender & will want to snuff that out.
  18. Yes but in the interests of alliteration Buddy the Bear sounds much better.
  19. Actually the comments that struck me the most from his interview were; "Our defence is definitely our biggest strength and to be honest we probably pride ourselves on making Friday night games pretty boring to watch for spectators. " I wasn't bored last week! 🤣
  20. What does "all duck, no dinner" mean?
  21. When they were handing out stereotypes we certainly got one of the better ones. Let's see would you rather be cheese & wine toff in the MCC who goes to the snow or a petty crook with poor dental hygiene on the dole? Most Collingwood supporters I know are fine, a few relos are Collingwood and my 3 best mates all Collingwood. Makes it worse when we lose to them though I cop it from everywhere.
  22. If it is true surely they ditch Daniher. The bloke acts like he's playing Div4 Ammos
  23. Better back it up now. Will look pretty stupid if they let a one trick pony beat them twice in one year - plus potentially have to face them again in September.
  24. They can only take as many picks to the draft as list spots they have available can't they? So if they have 4 lists spots available they can only use 4 draft picks. They changed the rules a few years ago to stop teams trading a number 3 pick for example for 5 picks in the 30s.
  25. Who gets Elliott? He is probably the most dangerous one of the lot.
