What's this I hear about the Club saying it doesnt want Tom Scully and wants junk time wins to prevent us from getting a PPs???? What the heck is going on with the Club when we have the chance to get pick 1 and 2 and we're now going for wins for the next 7 games! The entire board and coaching staff should be sacked if we win 5 games. That's the trouble with Melbourne we never just let go even when our season is GONE we win these crap games at the end of the year to deny us a decent chance to rebuild with quality picks. This is the LAST decent draft for a long time and we're going for wins????? No wonder our Club is down the crapper we have these Clowns running us.

Dunn is a gun player, how many goals did he set up with pin point kicks into our forward 50 to LJ in particular this boy should be Centre-Half Forward IMHO. He's also a good kick for goal. This game was the end of Bell in my view, the jokers who contracted him till the end of next year should be fired IMHO the worst decision was to sign Bell in the first place but to do it again?????? How good is LJ? He's a better kick for goal than Jeff Farmer was in his hay day :D

Wheatley Robbo If only we could do it like Freo *shakes head* I cannot see us losing to Freo at the G and that would make it 4 wins... Plus North are able to play well enough to then lose games and we could beat them to make it 5. Its difficult because the coach has a big say in this, he could tell em not to win but they arent. In the end I guess the coach will be to blame if we win 5. I pray I am wrong and we win 4.

All this talk about getting a winning culture is a joke. How did winning those junk time games against Footscray and Carlton in 2007 help our winning culture?? We havent had a winning culture since 2000 and it didnt last! I dont see how any Melbourne true blue supporter could want us to win another game this season. This win today was almost as sickening as our win over Carlton in 2007. We won by 11 points over a crap team infront of 15000, wow that's going to help our membership and our winning culture? Sure those picks arent going to guarantee that we perform next year but how many times have we won games at the end of a crap season only to miss out on good draft picks!!! It is my view that they will win more games as many of them are playing for their careers. If we get those top 2 picks add Watts in there too and you're looking at 3 or 4 players who wont play for Melbourne next year. Carn the Dees tank till Round 22 and belt the Sainters!

I think I know why we're playing 'well' now, because alot of the alsorands in the team know that if the Dees pick up the priority picks then their careers might go down the tube...

Wise we have picked rather poorly for decades so even when we did get draft picks we got duds... I cant see how any melbourne supporter can think that winning today is going to benefit the club. How is winning by 11 points in front of barely 15000 going to help the club? Also how many times have we had crap seasons to only win enough games and miss out on draft picks! If we win 5 games this season the entire coaching staff should be sacked, havent we learned anything from 2007??? Why Dunn doesnt get a start every game makes me think the coach has it out for him. Dunn is a gun key position forward and the sooner they play him centre-half forward the better. Surely this game spells the demise of D.Bell?

This performance was a disgrace, havent we learned our lesson from beating Carlton and giving them priority picks??? How many members is beating Port going to get us next season? We've been shocking for a long time and continue to not get draft picks for winning too many so let's lose the rest of the games and beat the Saints in round 22! Why did Melbourne win if it was to only win by 11 points?? If we're going to win 2 more games whoops now 1 more game shouldnt we aim to thump a side? Beating Port was a disgrace, this draft is the only one for sometime that will matter... I'll never forget watching us beat Carlton in round 22 when they were tanking and even then we struggled to beat them. Tanking got them draft picks. We get nothing out of this season if we win any more games except destroy our chances to pick up some young guns. I hate to want the team I love to lose but I just cant see any benefit from us winning games this season.
